- This video covers how to draw a foul by using a quarter turn. This is not only an effective way to draw a foul, but it also gives you a great opportunity to shoot the ball if you're outside of 6 Meters. FINA changed this to 6 Meters in 2020, prior to that you could shoot outside of 5 Meters. Any utility player would benefit from this skill, which is for intermediate to advanced water polo players. +1 for this. I also discovered water polo late in life, Starting at 40. I learned a ton from these videos, and now at 44(sadly due to Covid shutdowns ), I’m back with a beginner friendly club and relearning the game and these videos are immensely helpful. Please keep them coming!

Yes we are planning on doing one. We are going to use actually Refs to explain it too. However, we have to wait for games to start back up in order to film it. Hoping that will be soon!

How do i hook rhe defender and where do i hook
You get as much as you can with your off arm from the chest to belly button area. If all you can reach is a straight arm then you straight arm move the defender. If you can reach back with your off arm and wrap him up then you do that. That’s about as good as I can explain with words. Hope it helps.
