samsung needs to give access to abdroid play store, like nokia did for nokia x...coz I have had used samsung's proprietary os efor also that was bada os, amaxing os, ery stable os not like android dat throws bugs in your pho.e randomly. But the main negative drawbavk was that there was no app store, only samsung app store in which very limited apps were available. so if damsung can combine google play store in tizen than it will be a boom for samsung..

Tizen is the operating system (OS) of the phone. Just as how Galaxy has Android OS, iPhone has iOS, Blackberry has BB OS, etc. I believe some (if not all) of those apps you mentioned are currently not available for Tizen but they say you can try installing Android apps in it like using apk files so that might work.

Stupid device.8gb intenral with barely 5gb available.Tizen not gonna do anything for sammy just like bada os offered in wave series.
+ BUMBA BUM I don't think Samsung's goal here is to make a mid or high end phone. From what I see the are literally just testing the OS on minimum specs to specific regions and it's trying to attract developers.
Samsungs Tizen is pointless and will fail. why?
1. It looks like touchwiz, this is why samsung has been skinning touchwiz over android to make the move as seamless as possible but tell me..who has EVER said "OMG, I can't wait for next years TouchWiz!"...that's right.
2. Android does everything Tizen does but is compatible and has GAPPS. GAPPS make up android and with Google Now on tap, Google Voice, Play Store and Now cards, you'll end up being stuck with, either the samsung app store (or worse Tizen's unpopulated app store), manual searches and Bing (probably) and S Voice to fuck it all up. Fun! No apps and S Voice.
3. Even though Tizen promises App compatibility you're getting a jimmy rigged version of GAPPS, you're running an alternate system so that you can run a phone to be like android. Why the hell would you go through ALL the bugs, hacks, crap and headaches to try to run your apps and GAPPS on a Tizen based phone with a shit app store just so you can have a shittier version of Android?
Samsung got greedy, they don't want to give google their cut and they figure after it all they can make a bit more. but they'll loose. Pretty soon it'll be the next Nokia.
+Devon Schirrmacher Android is not a stable one, but TIZEN is. And they just started the journey, this is the 2nd version of TIZEN phone. So wait and see before comment about APPS. Guess you did not use Z1. Compared to low budget Android phone it never hang or stuck. Beside this the major and popular andriod apps are in TIZEN store.
