What color is this car it's so great and fancy!
How does the massage in this work and compare to Lincoln mkz or continental? Is it stronger with more body coverage? Do they all use the same inflating sack technology? Is the Volvo super subtle?

I think this is going to be my new vehicle once they develop a used market. Volvo has really designed an attractive and refined vehicle. It just oozes comfort and sophistication though the infotainment center might need a few tweaks. Great video, Mike.

Mike....we are driving our first Volvo..a 2016 V60. We love this car. Drives like a dream and gets terrific gas mileage...around 33 hwy. Interested to drive the new XC 60. Thanks for the review....always thorough and enjoyable!

I've an electric Silver V60 T4, great car. It's got the Ecoboost 1.6T engine and I'm surprised that it's so nifty. I imagine Volvo's own VEA engines of late can only be designed along the lines of an Ecoboost.

Great review! I watch your videos every once in a while and I noticed that you recorded then added your voice in later in some parts but that's great, not complaining at all. I'm just glad that even if you change little things in your videos it's still your way of having the camera and looking at EVERYTHING. Which is what I think we as viewers enjoy of your channel. Some other channels I used to watch, because of their attention to detail, have changed so much It's just not enjoyable and are basically the same as other reviewers, but you're still doing your thing and that's what I love about you and your channel. I record all the audio in real time while I am going over the car however I add a b-roll or video footage filmed to highlight a specific feature. I love the microphone I have because it sometimes sounds like I am in a studio recording even though I am in a parking lot :)

Just a head's up to my friends . I bought this Volvo in March and was never told it has tires that CAN NOT be repaired. You see there is foam in the tire to make it a quiet ride. So when I had a slow leak in one of my tires I paid 270 dollars for a new tire. Then I had to go back and pay 600 dollars more for the tire coverage and was insulted by them saying that I should have bought the tire coverage in the first place. I told them no one ever told me that these tires were unrepairable and they said "Sorry". This is a leased car and I have it approx 5 months. Now I still have to wait 45 days for this to take affect so my car will probably sit in the driveway for most of the duration. Thanks Volvo

Awesome review, Mike. FYI...At the 35:10 videomark, that open slot below the Sensus screen is actually an ambient temperature sensor, not the SD card holder. This car will hopefully be a big seller for Volvo in the next few years. This particular Inscription XC60 is beautiful and should give the Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and Jaguar competitors a run for their money. Admittedly, the XC60 is not as strong in overall speed and engine performance, but it surpasses them in technology and luxury at a slightly lower price point.

A very informative video! The only issue I see with this and owners of this vehicle can clarify this for me below, with my Range Rover, initially, the entertainment screen would go out and I would have to send the vehicle into the dealership to fix. If the temperature is controlled by this same screen, in the event the screen goes out, how does one adjust heat or air...? That is the only thing that makes me pretty hesitant to put this vehicle at the top of my list for my next purchase. Otherwise, I love the features! Mike, I will check and see if you have a video for the GMC Acadia (Denali), that is the other vehicle I am considering. Thanks for doing this video!!!
Great video and commentary. The XC60 is a great looking car, love all the features but I am surprised for a high end luxury vehicle, that it does NOT have a power tilt/telescopic steering wheel. Both my 2008 Lexus IS250 and my 2015 Lincoln MKC have power tilt/telescoping wheel as well as automatically raising/lowering the wheel and moving the driver seat back/forward when exiting/entering the vehicle.
Gary Saarimaki volvo intentionally made it manual for safety reasons
I appreciate safety but how is a manual tilt/telescopic wheel any safer than a power operated one?

@@WoodyONeal The feature is used everytime the car is started & stopped as it features easy entry/exit. When the engine is shut off the seat moves back & the steering wheel tilts up & in. When the engine is started the seat & wheel moves to the memorized positions.

i thought the intro was Top Gun like inspired. Hello Mike, nice review, can you please assist in choices between Petrol vs Diesel, which would be a better option . I was thinking i prefer quiet driving experience, I don't have to drive more than 10 minutes to work, in urban setting. I understand with Diesel engines previously, one needs to drive up to 100 kmph, over 1 hour for the exhaust to work effectively, would this be still the case. Thanks for your time, Iann

Does it still have the same 'Swedish' build quality like previous models? My experience with them is that they don't cut corners and everything in them is 'tight' and sturdy. The XC60 was always a beauty, the new one no less so. I don't like the XC90, it's ugly and boxy looking like the S90.
The XC90 is not ugly and boxy! And Volvo cut corners like a formula 1
Not cutting corners as in 'sparing no expense'. I love Volvo. I'm just not a fan of the new XC90, looks wise. Perhaps it will grow on me. I do love the new XC60 look probably because they haven't changed its look a bunch while keeping it a modern next generation Volvo.
