From what I can tell, a good video.
It is nice that you show how you actually do it and give som tips on how to handle and identify the components!
Some other channels shows assembly with a time laps so you don't really see anything meaningful at all...

Helpful watching before attempting. Thanks for explaining how to decode / interpret the labels of various components.

Very clear and instructional, thank you. I believe the kit can be obtained with all the SMDs in place, which should make assembly even easier. It looks a very useful project for a novice enthusiast.

You are welcome. I did not know if we could get the kit with SMD components in place. Thanks

Good video. I was having issues with those 2 caps that my tester wouldn't read. After putting them under the microscope I decided the 3 dots was a 3 so the smudge must be a 1.

what temperature do you have the iron set at? tks

I can't set the tempearature on my soldering iron. Just 30W or 40W soldering iron will work fine.

Soooo… this is now my second soldering project. First one was a little clock. 😂
I had some confusion regarding bad readings from my multimeters and accidentally placed one of my 470 ohm resistors in place of the choke, probably trying to get ahead of myself. 🤦🏽‍♂️
While desoldering, I broke the lead RIGHT where it meets the body. Luckily I found the tiny effers with a magnetic sweep.
Now to the point, the node in question is R40… that is where the resistor should have been so I soldered the broken pieces to that spot. After soldering the base, I put a bit of solder at the broken joint… will this work?
Long winded, excuse me! Kids runnin around everywhere and YES I’ve had a couple drinks! 😂

Why does Robojax.com keep popping onto the screen? It's not necessary. You have made a very nice, honest & clear instruction set here but it's made difficult to follow with the silly unnecessary pop up:(

Thank you for pointing this. We were selling products online and had store. I will remove it immediately from now on from any video that is recorded.

It's to stop people getting away with stealing it. It doesn't get in the way

I have the same kit, but as a clone. I can't get it working, the lcd backlight turns on, but nothing else. If i check r4 and r2 on the board, i get both readings as 1 megaohm instead of 2 megaohms and 1.8 megaohms, respectively, any help is welcome

Did you ground yourself before touching all the boards?
