The way some people feel about Easter eggs in Marvel movies? That’s how I feel when Larry Golding shows up in a Stories cover. I feel like I got a special gift not many people can understand, but I wish they could.
This performance is clear example of how powerful a centered person can radiate emotions, cause experiences, bringing witnesses to extasy ... while staying cool, sane, simply breathing and doing magic :-)
I totally bought in ... my body is grooving ... this song wants you to hold back ... but dear ms. charise you have the power to blow the speakers out ... oh my gosh ... you need take this song into the stratosphere.
This is fantastic. That rhythmic brushing of (I assume) Ryan's palm against the bridge of the guitar, the organ bass line, the no-look leads on the Rhodes, that impeccable and effortless vocal... So good. I only see one SDC on the guitar, but the mix feels a bit wider... am I missing something?
I wonder the same. I think it has something to do with the fact that the guitar was recorded both with a mic pointing the 12 fret and a line (a cable), and both have been panned to the right but still have some space between theme, plus the difference in sound or frequencies, so maybe that’s what makes it wider. But I’m not entirely sure
Ryan isn't above dubbing in additional instruments if the occasion calls for it. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an overdub on the guitar part toward the end. Doesn't really bother me, it's usually tastefully done.
This has a nice balance of staying faithful to the original and switching it up. Pretty. With that said I still had Al’s and Tina’s versions dancing in my head this whole time I was listening, especially the former, which is the definitive IMO.
I love this for two reasons; the sound, and the fact that in the 70s, I drummed and sang in a duo with a keyboard player who juggled a B3 and Rhodes just like this! Cool stuff!
Oh man, nothing quite like pegging the soul meter. Incredibly enjoyable rendition. Listened twice and bookmarked to return whenever I need a soul infusion.
sick playing from larry and ryan, literally perfect. amazing singing from charise too, love the note choices and they way she sang it. definitely my favorite cover from this channel! keep it up!!!
I'm just now discovering this channel.. Never heard of any of these people before... But is my guy playing the keyboard and an organ AT THE SAME TIME!?! That takes some talent..
the guitar tone sounds so good. always tough to get the nice fat acoustic rhythm sound and this is beautiful. lovely vocal and keys arrangement. love it.
Wow! That's amazing! Your voice is so beautiful, smooth and clear that I can see every word you say as if without whatever electronic interruption as the earlier singers did.
ahh glad you’re digging them! we record 10 songs a day with 5 different singers two days a month. each song is arranged and recorded in about 45 mins! it’s a lot but very fun and rewarding!
I have a Playlist called Best Music Ever Made. This song is in it. Thank you for blowing me away and filling my heart and body with joy and spontaneous dance.
Me: *sleeping* The mosquito in the middle of the night next to my ear: 2:17 In all seriousness, this was one of my favorite covers so far which really says something with the quality of this channels output.
Let's stay together I, I'm I'm so in love with you Whatever you want to do Is all right with me 'Cause you make me feel so brand new And I want to spend my life with you Let me say that since, baby, since we've been together Ooh, loving you forever Is what I need Let me, be the one you come running to I'll never be untrue Oh baby Let's, let's stay together ('gether) Lovin' you whether, whether Times are good or bad, happy or sad Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad Why, somebody, why people break up? And suddenly in my mind: 'Cause a year from now, when you kicking it in the Caribbean, you gonna say to yourself, "Marcellus Wallace was right." Ps: Great cover!

Al Green is my second favorite singer behind Marvin Gaye. Nice job young lady! 😍

@@martingaragorri7747 You're also probably getting a decent amount of guitar in the vocal mic in the center which could definitely be a factor.
We run the guitar through an amp and I usually put some pre delay on it to give that wide feel. Thanks for noticing!
@@justinglasco I heard the delay near the end. Really nicely done.
Always blown away by this performance. One of my favs from stories
Her voice is perfect for this song
She "just" sings the song, and it's perfect.

Amen. I was afraid they had disappeared from Stories, glad they are still in the studio. Great sparkle and clarity in those mics.
Little too crispy in highs on this one for my taste, but her performance is amazing.
