Great video. Looking back after 2 years of my beginning I think you made some great product choices. Enjoy the journey! I hope you’re able to create music and content that is pleasing to you and a blessing to others!

Thank you. Congrats on staying at it for two years. What are some things you’ve learned? I’ve so appreciated the information people share. Blessing others is my ‘why.’ 😊

Alright, cool lady. You have a neat little start up studio. Good luck on your productions. I like room studios.

Thanks! It's a huge learning curve, but I'm in this with purpose.

I think this is awesome. I’m a freelance engineer based out of Tx and I wished I would have filmed the growth of my studio . If you ever have any questions about anything I’ll be happy to help where I can . Good-luck on your journey it never ends 😂

"journey it never ends" couldn't described it more accurately... 😂
you never know where to start and where to end from all of this, one day i'm researching sidechaining the other cables 😂
(same as game design / dev) lot of things to learn and play with. 😊

    nice ❤️
can't wait to check what you'll make.

Hey! That’s an awesome little studio: I suggest you to raise the speakers and add some treatment in the room, so you’ll be ready to roll 😊

@@Mr.MoonBunny thank you. I agree. They should be at ear level; right now they’re on foam. I still need stands and panels. I appreciate your input,

@@TruStory2564 I share with you a trick for the speakers: put them on a 1$ hard rubber feet. Cheap hard rubber is the best way to translate vibration into warmth and not let pass them through your stands/table. Even high-end speakers use those.
In case you’re struggling getting the speakers to ears-level, just tilt them upwards. It will work fine 👍

It’s always refreshing to see someone new get into music.
Decent setup up too. If I found a synthesizer on sale for 50 bucks I would not be typing this lol (I’d be too busy playing). I would recommend in the foreseeable future to consider upgrading your laptop. Music production can be cpu intensive. Other than that, fair warning to ya, the learning curve is steep, but worth it! Even if you can learn an hour a day, you’d be impressed by the results. What type of music are you making?

@@djderive6830 thank you. lol, yeah I hear ya. Music is life. It sure is a steep learning curve. Hope to reach an hour a day soon. Starting at 30 min. Yes, I did get a new computer. You might see it in future videos. Big difference!
As for what kind of music, to me the lyrics are top priority whether I write a song or just sing it. I mostly write my own little songs to memorize bible verses, but the first song I’m working on is Tears by Rush.

Also, don’t worry about editing video n stuff. I would focus on the music first. Let someone who is tech savvy do that for you. Believe me, you do t wanna waste ur time learning side projects when you take something on like music production 😊

please just never buy some of those "accoustic" dampening panels made of foam, buy real sound dampening equipment or build it yourself, there are a lot of videos online if you need help/ and or a tutorial on how to get rid of echo in your recording room, the accoustic foam panels are literally scam

@@TruStory2564 So true, It doesn't matter how good the speakers are, you need to 'treat' the room to break up the reflective surfaces with some absorption panels (not those silly foam ones) and it will sound so much better. This is a start for your search in you tube, paste in; How To Make Your Own Acoustic Panels - DIY Professional Acoustic Treatment for Home Studio this is a great start, you may not need that many to get a good result, maybe start with 4 panels and see how it sounds. You may need to add one to the ceiling, known as a cloud, above your listening position if you hear a flutter echo, also look into some advice on speaker placement/ listening position in the room. Good luck on your journey having fun making music.
