      I wouldn’t call this an Easter egg, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus was actually sick when the Season Seven premier was recorded.
      The scene where Elaine was screaming at her neighbor’s barking dog must have been filmed after she got her voice back and was most likely inserted into the episode to explain the hoarseness of her voice.

    • @VoidHalo
      @VoidHalo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That IS really awesome. The only way to catch it is if you have an amazing memory or for some reason stream them one after the other. And streaming didn't exist when that aired so unless you got really lucky watching them on syndication, you would never see them close enough together to catch that. Simply amazing.
      It's like the easter eggs some programmers put in early video games for the Atari. Sometimes the only way to find the easter egg is to look at the code for the game. But to do that in the 70s... I mean PCs didn't even exist yet. You'd have to design and build a device to read the data off of atari cartidges and print it off on a screen or paper. But even if you got the data, it's just binary. It's not meant to be read by a person. So you have to go through it one number at a time and literally decode what might be 30,000 numbers or more. Then depending on the easter egg, you might be able to go through the decoded text one letter at a time and see if any of it spells out anything meaningful or if it's just all computer instructions. If it's instructions then you have to decode what those instructions are. Write them out. Then reverse engineer the program to figure out what the instructions do. And then hope that those instructions have some sort of easter egg in them.

      Anyone who was a teen or adult back then gets all the types of jokes Jerry, Larry David, and the other writers wrote that refer back to the 1960s. There are may jokes they had that refer back to that time that only people who lived in the 1960s would understand. That's one thing I really loved about the show. They were " inside" jokes that NO ONE would ever get unless they lived back then. It was genius.

    Not just one of the best comedy shows but one of the best shows ever period. The way they kept up with every little detail and references from previous episodes/seasons was groundbreaking. Also to see the stars that passed thru the show and went on to stardom ( Teri hatcher/Debra messing etc...)....and then to get all those characters to come back for the finale was incredible. To me this show along with Three's Company are the two best comedy shows of all time. John Ritter's Jack Tripper and Jerry Seinfeld very different but yet similar in there will never be characters like them. Both geniuses in there own way.

    This show is the most influential sitcom of all time.
    Bottle episodes, observational humour, dark comedy with immoral protagonists, single-cam filming, product placement, connecting plot-lines, etc. It all began with Seinfeld.

      Bottle episodes are much older than Seinfeld, which began in 89. For example, the first season of UK sitcom Only Fools and Horses, shown in 81, includes two bottle eps.

    The brown Ford Fairmont or Mercury Zephyrs that all of a sudden would not start? This was a blooper, the car was supposed to start but when it did not they just left it in and rightly so. So what happened?? These Fords all had an "inertia" switch in the trunk. I was a safety switch that would shut off the electric fuel pump if the car was struck from behind. When Kramer crashes that heavy AC into the trunk he inadvertently tripped the switch. This switch could also be tripped by simply slamming the trunk lid down to fast/hard. I remember driving down a street near a park and 7 lady's were pushing a station wagon up the street I was on. I asked what was up and one said the car would not start after just running fine. I asked if anyone of them had just closed the rear gate? Answer was yes, I got out opened the gate and reset the Button on the inertia switch, station wagon started right up. I got some nice hugs and a few kisses out of that one.

We got where we were going and when we came out the car wouldn't start, wouldn't even crank- (it was manual trans.) I guessed that the clutch pedal interlock switch got dislodged in the pothole jolt & it did! Snap it back in & we're back on the road.
