I do agree with this video but sometimes wrestlers are impossible to be recreated. In my opinion we’ll never see another character like the Undertaker ever again
4:35 I wouldn't say Strowman is a failure, I'd say he filled that role very well for the few years he was with WWE. The first few years were obviously better and more entertaining when he was the Monster Among Men. Things started to go south once they made him act like a regular guy.
Yeah he was very successful until wwe change him like you said I agree I his like dark side of his character that had huge hold on the fans it was over once wwe started with crap
Austin Theory has always had the look. I’ve been telling wrestling fans and people in the community that Austin Theory is WWE’s next star. They could’ve had Reigns but they started his reign late and Roman is nearing his 40s pretty soon. Now all we need are a couple of more young athletes to be alongside him
Dude this is probably one if the realest and most needed video for the wrestling community. Everyone always complaining bout one company or another. How bout we all just sit back and enjoy watching the rise, fall, success, and failures of all the future bright stars. My favorite part of wrestling is watching these new guys come in as young hotshot and seeing their growth and watch them slowly morphing into the next wwe hall of fame like we did with brock and orton and Cena and my favorite batista. I was bleesed to have been born before the attitude Era so I got to watch the old school guys retire the legends today make their beginnings and now as they start to retire I get to watch the whole new generation of superstars slowly start to build their names and become superstars.
This video makes me smile. It makes me smile because it showcases how real wrestling can be to anyone and everyone who crosses its path, whether you're a wrestling fan or not. Professional wrestling, not just World Wrestling Entertainment, but professional wrestling as a whole can inspire generation after generation. It has the power to motivate and help one grow into something that not even said one could possibly imagine. This isn't some movie set with bright lights and with fancy cameras. This isn't broadway with stage directions and moving prop pieces. The drive, the determination, and the passion each professional wrestler, not superstar, each professional wrestler puts into their line of work is absolutely phenomenal and should be seen as that. No matter who you are, no matter where you come from. No matter where you started or how you finished. No matter where you're placed on the card or where you sit in the crowd. Professional Wrestling is a masterpiece. It's effected the world around us and with all respect has improved it. Others see this as fraudulent. Others see this as bottom of the barrel garbage. But me? I see it as a reminder of what I can be if I push myself to limits I've never seen before. I see it as a representation of the world around us just like those who watch NASCAR or the NBA or the NFL. I see this the same way those before us saw it with the icons and legends of yesteryear like the great Billy Graham, like the great Buddy Rogers, like the great Eddie Guerrero. I, as a wrestling mark-- and yes I am proud to be a wrestling mark--, see this sport as something to cherish. Something to look towards. Something to elevate. Something to admire: Then. Now. Forever. Together. It's more than just a marketed slogan they put at the top of the hour. - Thank you Professional Wrestling. From all of us, to you.

Quite frankly, it's gonna take a lot for theory to be the next john cena. It's one thing to resemble cena but getting the reaction is not easy considering how over cena was during his thuganomics time. That kind of reactions made cena what he is today and that's kind of what theory needs. Unless he brings something great to the table, he's not gonna make it.

And wrong. Referring to Harland as Harper. Calling Harland the next Batista and Bron Breaker the next Brock Lesnar when it was Harland who was the next Lesnar. Saying Bron has a background in football like Lesnar did, who has a background in amateur wrestling. Pretty lazy research actually.
It's rather funny how I just finished watching Jim Cornette talk about Cena and hulk and now I see this video... But Jim compared Cena to stone cold more than hulk Hogan. He said that stone cold was close to his real life charecter and so was john Cena and hulk Hogan was like a super hero charecter that wasn't really authentic it was clearly a persona. So he compared Cena more to stone cold than hogan. And I see why.
Cena was a mix of both. He shared Austin's authenticity with Hulk's superhuman persona. There's a reason why the name "Super Cena" was created. I think the difference is Hulk was a superhero 24/7 while John turns into one when he's in the ring or at the pinnacle of a feud.
John cena = Austin theory Brock lesnar = Harland Young randy Orton = Grayson Waller Goldberg = bron breaker Mjf = cm punk Darby allin = Jeff hardy Ricochet = Evan Bourne The rock = la knight Stone cold = tomaso ciampa Rvd = Matt riddle Bronson reed = mark hengry HBk= Seth Rollins Ultimate warrior= Montez ford
Theory really nails the arrogance that Orton had when he was younger. Theres certainly Cena similarities but in terms of size Theory is built more like Orton compared to Cena
Hey Pllana I have been watching your channel from a very long time. And I can say this is one of the best videos you have ever made. Keep up the great work dude!
In my opinion, Carmelo Hayes is more like John Cena. Theory is more like Randy Orton, the Legend Killer version from 03-06. Grayson Waller is more like The Miz.
People may not like the approach wwe has with building its stars but it works, people rejected Roman when he was on a singles run but wwe pushed and pushed until he was a household name. WWE future is bright with guys like Theory, bron breaker, Carmelo Hayes, Montez ford, Gunther and the new signee Logan Paul. Vince knows what he’s doing wish I could say the same for tony over at aew
Carmelo does suck he's fking boring too. As for roman you obviously know nothing if you think he's not a household name. You don't get to be the longest reigning universal champion if your not good. You obviously know nothing about wwe so do everyone a favor and shut your mouth unless you know what your talking about which you don't.
Swagger was Kurt, always Saw Roman, Rollins, Ambrose as Rock, Triple H and Stone Cold, Jordan and Gable were Haas and Benjamin, Del Rio was a mix of Eddie and JBL, Ryback was Goldberg, Ziggler is Shawn and Gunn, So many I won't keep going. Its just the way it is
The fact that even the format of the video, especially towards the end, is the slow piano music getting quicker, while the clips also come one after the other, and then you hit me with the AJ Lee/Lita thing and boom. Tear in my just like that.
Theory is amazing. No doubt. But just remember what John Cena said to Ezekiel in his 20th anniversary. "JUST never forget who you really are" While that's joke regarding the feud of Kevin Owens going rambling about Elias & Ezekiel and upcoming Elrod, It's possible that John Cena secretly referred everytime WWE tried to recreate a character for a different person.....and failed miserably. You know. Some examples would be: Ryback as 2nd Goldberg, Mason Ryan as 2nd Batista,....... It's good that Theory is having amazing run on main roster. But i seriously hope that WWE don't go too serious about making him another John Cena. Theory is Theory. He's a great talent of himself, not in someone's shadow. Same would be for other wrestlers that Pllana mentioned in this video. And I hope I will be wrong. I really do.
But the same could be said about the success stories, Hogan as the new Superstar Billy Graham, Degeneration X as the new New World Order. There were successes AND failures. It's not about the idea, but about how good the portrayer of the idea is. Ryback and Mason Ryan just weren't good.
@@duyphan4617 if he's good enough he's good enough. They obviously see a lot of potential in this kid. Even Jim Cornette, who is ultra critical about a lot of things has nothing but praise for this kid.
@@garymaidman625 well. Yes. I just hope they don't go so serious about making him 2nd Cena. Ofc i would love to see if he becomes a successful successor.
Theory is trash and so is wwe ... Babyface is dead either you are heel or being forced down our brains as a baby face which is why we like Roman and why Brock sucks right now
Okay this is different in sports we tend to not want to compare younger/newer players to legends Because it can work against the player due to the pressure. But since wwe you can write the script it depends more on the crowds approval, most of the time to see if theory will be over or not Still very entertaining to say the least
I mean I can see that but I think with the pop culture they both were doing theory being selfies and social media and Cena with rap I think that's why some see similarities to Cena
Theory has everything but he doesn't look like babyface material. He screams top level heel to me. It's just the way he look - naturally heel-like. I don't see him as the next John Cena.
My inspirations were Bret Hart and more importantly, CM Punk. He inspired me to stand up for myself in high school and call out injustices. When he talked, people listened and I was right there taking notes. Hell every other day I find myself watching a CM Punk promo to hype myself up. Truly an inspiration.
This the most beautiful video and to be honest I think this is you best video of all time of yours ,I have been following you for a long time and this is amazing to be honest !!
Definitely a big fan of pushing Theory I think that WWE is gonna do whatever they can to keep him fresh for a while. I think this is gonna be where WWE gets it right tbh. I’ve always wanted to see a what if of where WWE properly pushed the ones that we should have seen get pushed like Keith Lee, Allistar Black, Cesaro, the list goes on. Would def make a good what if
I love this video, going throw a carrer as arquitecture you badly learn that: nothing is original, everything already exist someway, and connect that with something i love like wrestling it simply stunning, great video, one of my favorites of this channel
Man. I've been watching your videos for a while now but I don't know how to explain it but this is the best one I've seen. Really did your homework with this one 😎👍🏾 . Ps- would you ever consider doing a fantasy booking video using this info?
Some wrestlers have no equivalent were talking john cena, roman reigns, undertaker, the rock... and there's just no recreation of those people which is why the generation of wrestling we have now will be better than any generation ever
A new Evolution like faction should be The Miz in a Triple H role, Theory in an Orton role, Ciampa as the old Ric Flair role. Then idk who exactly but Gable, Veer, or maybe Ezekiel in a Batista role. Like a mid card Evolution lol & see who’ll propel themselves into true main eventers. This could be a Hot Take 🤷🏽♂️
To add onto this I think Malakai Black is also the next Undertaker, specifically reminding me of his Ministry stuff with the House of Black. If anyone else has any comparisons that weren't in the video then reply with them, I'd love to see them.
another eg is Benoit and Daniel Bryan both are short in height and were portrayed as they can never be the face of the company and one of the best technical wrestlers very similar moves in WWE, both winning WrestleMania main event in a triple threat match by submission
One of the best videos of yours❣️ And that's why NXT 2.0 is further step from black and gold era, it is creating OVW kind of next generational talent. NXT black and gold is still my favourite era but it had forgotten it's purpose of creating new pro wrestling icons they were giving platform to best indie talent out there which is same thing AEW is doing. Vince has seen the buisness closely and want to create something that's more appealing faces that are more popular than wrestling itself. That's how casuals will tune in and that's how they'll become new fans.
WWE should've done this a long time back, they've already dropped the ball on so many valuable talents, they never pushes guys like Cesaro, Ethan Carter, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Adrian Neville and the list goes on and on, they should've already established their top superstars but they didn't.
Damn that HBK/Ziggler bit really hit me. It breaks my heart to see him just floating around in the roster every now and then when he's too damn good for that.
@@AARONH85 We can never tell if it's a lack of initiative on his part or any changes to his character were put to the side by their creative team. Any wrestler who lacked character with good ring skills were either repackaged or given a manager though.
I agrée with Theory , Orton and maybe Melo but Roxane is pushing it. Aj Lee didn’t make that much of an impact in wwe history compared to for example Nikki Bella (longest reigning diva champion to spite Aj Lee reign after her departure) or the 4 Horsewomen. But I can see Cora Jade being big in the future tho
Aj lee made more of an impact in wrestling than you realize. She is one of the inspirations for upcoming women wrestlers. I do think that saying that roxanne is wwe's attempt at a new aj lee kinda discredits what she did outside of wwe.
The points with grayson waller and kevin owens makes less sense. They're barely anything like randy orton or stone cold. The last point is like saying randy orton is a recreation of DDP just because of their similar finishers.
I see xyon quinn as the next roman reigns. They show a lot of similarities. That dude is a hard hitting machine. Hope WWE realises his potential and makes him a top star

Waller is no Orton lmao and he uses a stunner..not a cutter

This was actually one of your best video's! It was extremely informative, clean and exciting!
LMFAOOOO THEORY? NAH
And wrong. Referring to Harland as Harper. Calling Harland the next Batista and Bron Breaker the next Brock Lesnar when it was Harland who was the next Lesnar. Saying Bron has a background in football like Lesnar did, who has a background in amateur wrestling. Pretty lazy research actually.
saying their will be another john cena just diminishes the greatness that is John Cena john Cena is goat theory is a joke

This video was amazing and hella entertaining to watch
Thank you, glad u liked it!
History ALWAYS repeats itself. We witnessed the start Cena’s rise in 2002. Now we will have to witness the rise of Theory in 2022 onward.
It's great
This video really made me realize so much more, thank you Pllana Productions ....

Theory is a combo of young cena and young Orton, everyone misses out on the young Orton part
Theory really nails the arrogance that Orton had when he was younger. Theres certainly Cena similarities but in terms of size Theory is built more like Orton compared to Cena
@@villiannewyork that’s facts, it’s like if young Orton had Cena’s story, it’s amazing

U get it
Amazing video! Gave me a bigger perspective not just in wrestling but in life and work :)
Carmelo sucks and you forgot pete dunne in that list
nah, roman just ain't it and not really a household name, either.
Bullshit.
@one they are not known outside the wrestling world. So they dont count.
Its just the way it is
you should keep going im curious to see your other comparisons
Anyone else think Cena’s retirement match should be against Randy Orton one last time?
Yessss, I mean Randy has said he wants to give us at least 10 more years. That is depending on his status in health and body.
I like it
Bro this was great it could be like an hour long doc, speaking of hour long vids we need the return of the pllana taking over wwe
This is a Certified Hood Classic ….. 🔥
Lolll
The fact that even the format of the video, especially towards the end, is the slow piano music getting quicker, while the clips also come one after the other, and then you hit me with the AJ Lee/Lita thing and boom. Tear in my just like that.
Idgaf what y'all smarks say but Austin Theory and Bron Breakker arei the next big things
2:10 how does that scream Chris Jericho? almost everyone in the WWE flexes their muscles
I love ur videos but idk man, it doesn't make sense to me
Theory is amazing.
No doubt.
But just remember what John Cena said to Ezekiel in his 20th anniversary.
"JUST never forget who you really are"
While that's joke regarding the feud of Kevin Owens going rambling about Elias & Ezekiel and upcoming Elrod, It's possible that John Cena secretly referred everytime WWE tried to recreate a character for a different person.....and failed miserably.
@@garymaidman625 yeah. Which is why i hope i will be wrong.
@@duyphan4617 if he's good enough he's good enough. They obviously see a lot of potential in this kid. Even Jim Cornette, who is ultra critical about a lot of things has nothing but praise for this kid.

@@valon.pllana cena was organic ,theory will be forced like roman
Theory is trash and so is wwe ... Babyface is dead either you are heel or being forced down our brains as a baby face which is why we like Roman and why Brock sucks right now
Razor Ramon and Carlito.
You mentioned MJF, and I see the parallel between MJF and Wardlow, as Shawn Michaels and Diesel to an extent.
Okay this is different in sports we tend to not want to compare younger/newer players to legends Because it can work against the player due to the pressure.
But since wwe you can write the script it depends more on the crowds approval, most of the time to see if theory will be over or not
Still very entertaining to say the least
I know it does but in sports people still do somewhat of the same by calling a certain athlete the next "former athlete"
😘😘
People can say whatever the want but this is a really good recreating history video. Btw Theory is like a mixture of randy Orton and John cena.
The similarities and comparisons of each wrestler were rather interesting. It makes you think like you’re living in some kind of parallel universe…
Absolutely fantastic video. Probably your best video yet‼️
No Bron breaker is like 1998 Goldberg in my opinion
Excellent production and editing!
Theory reminds me of a young Randy Orton rather than John Cena.
Wait until he turns babyface
Nah more of young cena
I mean I can see that but I think with the pop culture they both were doing theory being selfies and social media and Cena with rap I think that's why some see similarities to Cena
Same
Here is what will happens Theory will be that loveable babyface but he will be the ring worker like Orton not the main stream mega star like Breakker.
Might be the best vid I’ve seen from you yet, incredible stuff
I can’t be the only who thinks Austin theory looks like cena a little
If he shaves the mustache and goatee then boom
So we’re not gonna talk about that Logan Paul just signed with WWE?
Beautiful Video mate! I love it
Definitely a big fan of pushing Theory I think that WWE is gonna do whatever they can to keep him fresh for a while. I think this is gonna be where WWE gets it right tbh. I’ve always wanted to see a what if of where WWE properly pushed the ones that we should have seen get pushed like Keith Lee, Allistar Black, Cesaro, the list goes on. Would def make a good what if

Man. I've been watching your videos for a while now but I don't know how to explain it but this is the best one I've seen. Really did your homework with this one 😎👍🏾 .
Ps- would you ever consider doing a fantasy booking video using this info?
Some wrestlers have no equivalent were talking john cena, roman reigns, undertaker, the rock...
and there's just no recreation of those people which is why the generation of wrestling we have now will be better than any
generation ever
wwe trying to recreate history by same way they did in past
Velveteen Dream... & Shawn Michaels.. lol
Great video! That just made me like Theory a whole damn lot.. 💪🏽
A new Evolution like faction should be
The Miz in a Triple H role, Theory in an Orton role, Ciampa as the old Ric Flair role. Then idk who exactly but Gable, Veer, or maybe Ezekiel in a Batista role. Like a mid card Evolution lol & see who’ll propel themselves into true main eventers.
This could be a Hot Take 🤷🏽♂️
I was reading this and had to remind myself it's Ezekiel you're talking about. Not Ezekiel Jackson. Still that could be a good idea
One of the best video I seen and along time keep up the good work
I see Randy in Waller, but I see more of the Miz in Grayson Waller. I would love to see them as a tag team.
I don't comment often but this video really deserves it, awesome video brother, love from India
To add onto this I think Malakai Black is also the next Undertaker, specifically reminding me of his Ministry stuff with the House of Black. If anyone else has any comparisons that weren't in the video then reply with them, I'd love to see them.

@@jimmynitro9248 Pure cap that Malakai is legit 5’10
Every wrestler who wears black and does goth shit isn’t the Undertaker. They don’t even come close.
another eg is Benoit and Daniel Bryan both are short in height and were portrayed as they can never be the face of the company and one of the best technical wrestlers very similar moves in WWE, both winning WrestleMania main event in a triple threat match by submission
One of the best videos of yours❣️
And that's why NXT 2.0 is further step from black and gold era, it is creating OVW kind of next generational talent.
This is one of the best wrestling videos I’ve ever watched
WWE should've done this a long time back, they've already dropped the ball on so many valuable talents, they never pushes guys like Cesaro, Ethan Carter, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Adrian Neville and the list goes on and on, they should've already established their top superstars but they didn't.
Great job
Great video, great editing.
Theory is even a nobody in front of John Cena lol 😂
This was really good
Damn that HBK/Ziggler bit really hit me. It breaks my heart to see him just floating around in the roster every now and then when he's too damn good for that.
But is he really? Other than in ring skills he’s not that appealing and has been the same guy literally for a long long time
@@AARONH85 We can never tell if it's a lack of initiative on his part or any changes to his character were put to the side by their creative team. Any wrestler who lacked character with good ring skills were either repackaged or given a manager though.

@karl paul that's the point. I didn't have to.
Great video dude!
@@dashbored3448 tbh tna knockouts paved the way for women wrestling imo
@@quentelhill5074 Oh I can agree on that. The knockouts division definitely had a large part in it as well.
