wow, when you first start training you would think "why would you need to break something so simple down?" but these little moves are SO helpful when it comes to engagement, going to try this with my dog. Thank you!
is it possible to do this with a 3 year old who usually only plays if i get really active and excited, hes not naturally obsessed with the toy, he'll play with whatever is closest. i just want to know if it's possible to teach a dog to love playing like this. my guy is somewhat attentive to me but it takes a LOT of effort on my part to get him really stepping and looking at me. i don't know how to make it consistent. he's very smart and very obedient but i just don't know how to maintain that heel with him. any answers maybe?
Would that work for every breed? I rescued a street dog, and I wanted to do that heeling with him, but he's a reactive dog. I trained him and socialized him, but he's still insecure. I don't know what happened while his mum was pregnant. Maybe it affected him somehow.
Good video. Would be cool if you speak in the video instead of writing and music playing in the background. Such videos are suppose to be informative and people usually like to listen. :)
