Happy to see a young lad that's playing some classic tunes. You have good taste and understand the dynamics that are involved. Keep up the good work. I see you going places. just play my man.
I have a Champion and am always happy when I plug into it. This amp can sound great, and I've always thought that the amp is a top option for the price point. Cool to see you give this review of tones!
Thank you so much! I’ve been struggling to find the tones I wanted out of this amp, I can’t believe you don’t have more attention on your channel, your content is so helpful, thanks again
I love my Katana! In my opinion it works best with a Pedalboard and some small knob tweaking. Also thanks for the video idea my friend, maybe I will post a comparison between both of them.
Hola hermano saludos desde argentina me suscribo porque eres muy buena onda y también mi guitarrista favorito es jimi Hendrix... Mis canciones favoritas Red house - little wing
I’m planning on going from katana MK2-50 to Fender I mean my Kat is only like 6 months old and I’m not happy with the tones I get I like that Tweed Tone and the Princeton reverb as well as the bluesey deluxe 🤷♂️ if you were in Australia perhaps we could have done a trade in swap
That would have been very nice and thanks for your consideration. I have the 100 Watt Katana and I'm starting to find out that you have to have the power pretty output higher and tweak with the EQ settings to get nice tones. You can still get a variety of solid tones with enough tweaking.
Great little amp, Hendrix Machine Gun, Pink Floyd One of these Days & Echoes at Pompeii, Hooker 'n Heat Boogie Chillin No.2, Frank Zappa Black Napkins to name a few of my fav songs. Don't forget to get your own sound 😎 Have a look at the Vox VT40x as well sounds very good as well.
I see this being marketed as a beginner's amp, but I don't think so. The Frontman 20g is better for that (I wouldn't touch the 10g!) It would make a great second amp, though. There's more of a learning curve with this device.
Thanks loved just got one of these love it oh and just sold my Boss Katana couldn't get a decent tone out of it thats why tere are so many on 2nd hand markets. Rubbish
Speakers are one of the main ways brands like fender cut corners on production cost, if you want more out of your amp a speaker upgrade isn't a bad idea at all
Pattn, please keep your renditions of these classic tunes to yourself because you are seriously messing them up. The last thing in the world I want is for somebody to alter/destroy my memory of a beautiful song and that's exactly what you are doing. I hope I can un-hear your interpretations, for my own good. - Peter age 73
Holy hell what a bad take. As if the only reason to plug in and play is to sound exactly like someone who came before you. No one can alter/destroy your memories unless you're mentally impoverished enough to give that kind of power to others But really, seriously man, what a sad outlook.
Listen here @PeterDad60. Please keep these absolute vile takes to yourself and take the last few years of your 73 year old life and reflect on your actions. Your mere existence stuns me with how pathetic it is, and I’m almost surprised you don’t wake up embarrassed and humiliated by this hurtful statement.
Peter, with all do respect, people like you are the reason beginners turn away from music. You may be 73, but you need to mature. Blessings to you, sir.
I listen to a range of different rock genres. My favorite among them all is Hendrix. But some of my other favorite guitar players and rock groups would be: Led Zeppelin, Marty Friedman, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Black Sabbath, and More. If you looking for Blues, I highly suggest looking at Stevie Ray Vaughan and Albert King's Jam Session. That jam session has given me a lot of inspiration when it comes to playing Blues. Also can't forget Red House from Hendrix too.
Hellow fellow um from Brasil i come here nuce Jimmy i HAVE Channel ABT hamradio talk tô astronaut on ISS AND guitarras inhave THIS amply like só much ok Hope YOU Go there ok 😅

Thank you very much. I'll for sure keep playing.
I'm listening to the clean settings explanation and I hear "There's only one beer left... AAAAA"
I've had a Champion 20 for 5 years and I'm still finding great new tones, really love this amp!
It is definitely an amazing amp for home players! I would argue you can keep this amp if you never plan on doing gigs.
Have you a similar tone like the Chili Peppers? John Frusciante style, I'd really like to have a tone like that 🦫
Great demo!
Thank you very much 😄

Really good budget in my opinion as well! Thanks for your comment.

Sweet music my friend. Keep Hendrix alive because no one makes this kind of art anymore. Per in Denmark 😎🇩🇰
Thanks a ton!
Nice tones you have. Interesting to hear War Pigs , must be late 60's. Takes me back to my youth. Great playing young man.
Great playing bro. Just ordered one of these amps. Fender should hire you.
Just got mines today, also...Cant wait to test run it🙋🏾🎸🎼🎶🎵
Helps a lot, keep the videos coming
No problem! Always looking for ways to help the guitar community.

I'm subbing because your love of Hendrix and Doom!
Thank you very much 🤣👍
i have this amp. only setting i use is 2000 metal and wah effect. gain at 7, treble at 1. very heavy.
I'll have to try this tone! Thanks for sharing.
I'm contemplating taking a sharpie to the tap light on mine. Maybe a lil sand paper if it didn't initially dim.
Good stuff!
I have this amp. I like it. Trying to cope hair metal tones like Warrant and Winger has been a challenge though.
I have the champ 100. Gonna try these setting on it good job thanks. I wouldn't give up on the champ 20. How do you like the new katana? Comparison?

I love Machine Gun by Jimi, by far in my opinion his best live performances. Thanks for your amp suggestion as well!
The great advice, the good playing The MF doom!? I’m subscribing because your fucking cool dude
Thank you for your very kind comment lol. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video!
I love people's guitar faces. ❤

I lost one in a flood and had to replace it. I bought another 20
Get some🤙🏾

Slay 💅
Real 💅
I bought one as a practice amp. Electronics are great, speaker is crap. My single coil guitars sound better than humbucker or P90

If you're 73 you probably can't hear anyway😂. Keep playing young man.
