I’m still ticked off that Peavey stopped making the Cirrus series. They really sounded very solid and tight. After I saw TOTO with the late Mike Porcaro playing one, OMG! That b string was tight. I’m not a fan of the Cirrus they got now, but the older ones with the beautiful tops, were the bomb!🎶👍🏾
@@ralphhenderson7270 LOL! I forgot about that bass! That bass had a “in your face” tone. A friend of mine had one and played it thru his SWR 1500 head and 2 4X10 cabs. Let’s just say his brother (drummer) wasn’t a happy camper! That’s how powerful that bass was!😂🎶👍🏾
I had a cirrus bpx or something like that, that wasn't an American version of the instrument. It wasn't at all similar to the bass it was modeled after. It was cheap and it felt cheap, and I used it to sweeten the deal on a trade.

The Rudy Sarzo Peavey Cirrus is very nice,....it even has a sustain plate on the rear of the headstock that links all of the tuners together.
