I had the same problem with my exhaust pipes when I have to take the pan off. Mine has the stainless head pipes that the club had made in the 1990s.

I assume that's a brand new oil pan you installed or is it a reconditioned OEM pan? I've been looking for a brand new oil pan for my 1964 Chrysler 361, but nothing fits. Can you tell me where you bought your pan from?
It is a used pan I got from Murray Park.
