Thank you for your channel! While I understand testing a product or service prior to legitimising it legally, I have to say when dealing with creative products, unique catchy slogans on tshirts etc i think there ought to be some protection set up prior to putting them out for public view. Right? And because I want my brand name and logo on these products shouldn't I then also trademark the logo? Putting time effort and money into the creative & production side would be shamefully wasted if my business name, quips and slogans are ripped out from under me.
In a perfect world, yes. But right now the USPTO is taking a very long time to evaluate trademark applications -- it may be 9 months before they even start to look at it. Most of the time people don't steal slogans or names (except for big brands where it is profitable to counterfeit) -- they just happen to come up with it at a similar time. However, it is common for people and companies to steal *designs* but that you protect via a copyright registration (and enforcement).
Finally I heard something helpful and true!
Omg I love this. I feel like I’m going to be binging a lot of your videos this week. I have a small Etsy business that’s all over the place and a mess, yet somehow does okay. But I just inherited a small chunk of change and I’m ready to invest in myself and and get neat and tidy.
Glad you are enjoying the videos! Sounds like a great idea to get everything in order, now that you have the resources

Hey thank you for the infos. I have a car rental business and an online store. should I have one LLC and one EIN for both or create each separately for each businesses?
Good question - in this video I go over the +/- of that issue: th-cam.com/video/p-jeQ7TA69A/w-d-xo.html but with a car rental business, it might have enough risk where it makes sense to have it be separate
Hi, can i use my LLC name for multiple businesses?!
Yep!
Thank you for posting legit information. I am publishing Fbn right now. Going to call city soon for licenses needed. I really appreciate your ethics.
You're welcome - glad it was helpful!
I am a Christian and non-Christians may want to hire me for my services
I know people who focus their work with Christians (Christian financial planning, Christian live coaching) so that's possible.
