What about the best sounding smart speaker for home? I wish you added that in your list. Would appreciate if you have any recommendations for this category. Keep it up !
I've own Bose, JBl, and other small bluetooth speakers that claim that you can link two speakers together but wasn't able to verify those claims with any speakers. How do you link up two speakers if the device you have your music on (i.e. phone, tablet, etc.) is connected to one speaker and switches, disconnect from one device to pair and connect to another device. How do you link up two speakers and why doesn't anyone show this linkage of two speakers in their reviews? Many speakers make this claim but I'm yet to see it be truthful. For all those "reviewing" products why are you sleeping on testing out the product claim of linking 2 speakers?

@wadec6799 yeah I still absolutely love it! It's surprisingly loud and got a good battery. Don't know about tribit speakers but can never go wrong with Anker/Soundcore
I would really appreciate your opinion of the Soundcore Motion 300 compared with the Bose Soundlink Flex? Some reviews suggest that the Soundcore is the better speaker in that class, at a much lower cost.
I managed to get the sony XB-200 for 20$. Absolute steal. So happy with it. reasonable size, great sound, great app to control it, easy to connect and can pair with other speakers. Love the bass in it
I’ve had the Bose soundlink flex since May, it’s been a very reliable good sounding durable machine. The multi pairing with other Bose speakers is very nice, the sound is very filling even in larger rooms and in the open. It tends to be more bassy but that’s cool with me. The sound link flex is usually more expensive than the jbl flip models which are of similar size and premium feel, but the soundlink flex sounds better. Lack of aux port is a drawback in my opinion, and the battery life could be better.
Just bought Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 6. I really love the sound quality and bass, which it’s not boomy but controlled. I might get Vifa Helsinki and see if I like this better.
I've had the Onyx 6 for 2 years. I thought it sounded great at first, but I've heard much better speakers since and that bass that sounded great at first, actually sucks.
I’m curious about the Bluetooth connection on the Bose Flex speaker. I have the old Bose Color speaker, and I love it, but the Bluetooth isn’t the best. It can be a bit finicky, even with a thin wall between us. Do you think the Flex has a stronger, faster, and wider Bluetooth connection?
I love the XB100. I use it for my work from home loft. I have every speaker made by JBL. But this one fills the niche because of the speaker phone and good bass for a small speaker that doesn’t take too much desk. Space.
Hi Guy's, most reliable speaker for professional vocalist doing mid to large scale gigs?. None class d possible fan assisted, mic input and over 1000 watt ?. Any recommendations welcomed
I am a piano teacher and require a decent (better than iPad audio) speaker for my iPad for use in one to one lessons in practice rooms. It needs to have low latency because I have tutorial videos where the sound needs to sync with the picture exactly. Is bluetooth fast enough or do I need an aux input ? Do you have any suggestions ?
You need aux. you will notice it on any Bluetooth device. iPad Pro direct connects to my Roland through usb c. You can buy an adapter that connects through usb-c and has usb c power in and aux out and a couple usb ports for a portable piano or whatever else.
I'm looking for something that bumps and gives a lot of bass. I'm willing to spend money on it, and I've heard my buddy's Soundcore Motionboom Plus, and it's not really nearly as good as I want. I think the Sony XV800 would be the closest on the list that I'm looking for. But I was kinda hoping to get something slightly smaller so it would conveniently ride-along on a golf cart. Any suggestions??? Does the JBL Xtreme3 or Marshall Middleton bump significantly better than the Soundcore Motionboom Plus???
@tommo9176 sadly neither. I'm using a very cheap speaker called "boxanne"... It works and was free. If l chose one at this point, it would be the Bose. It produces better sound all the way around from what I've heard. The sony speakers are "cute" and attractive but Bose is hard to beat.
I wouldn't. I've bought the Marshall killburn 2. I was very happy with the sound, the feel, quality and design. But when switching from TH-cam to Spotify the speaker disconnects. It's often very hard to reconnect or pair a new device. And after a couple months it stopped charging. Got it fixed and a couple months after it stopped charging again. Got my money back and am now shopping for a new speaker. Really sad because the marshall aesthetics are just 😘✨🤌
Don't! I have it and everytime I pause my music or video it disconnects (even within 10 mins). I'm watching this video to find a replacement. I hate this damn thing :(
I bought a Soundcore Motion Boom Plus, its awesome but way too powerful for a room. So i bought 2xMotion Plus ant they are perfect with Tidal streaming from S23U. I know its a very low HiRes, if i msy say so, but for my ears and age its all i need.
For me so far, Sonos is my favourite speaker brand and I don't see something similar with the features like true play or wifi, assistant and multiple grouping speaker.
In various tests, there is about 6dB in terms of measurable volume in favour of Motion Boom Plus, in side by side tests the 'Plus' will overwhealm the X600 at high levels, especially in the bass department.
I'm currently thinking that a two speaker stereo set up produces a more rounded sound, but I can't seem to find a small sized duo speaker set up.. Do you know of any please? I'm not looking to be able to move them around, just want them in my kitchen:)
Looking to replace my soundcore 3 for my nightstand speaker. As soon as I saw Mike's name on this video I knew this was where I would start my research. I was like "The tech watch techguy!" I use a speaker to watch TV at night (no headgear for me) so my biggest concern is latency. Yes I know there are workarounds for latency, but my OCD will have me constantly adjusting the milliseconds and 2nd guessing myself 😆

Sony use to make decent Bluetooth speakers but lost their way. When compared to Tribit, JBL and Soundcore they are dull and flat. Good for background music. The Bose Sound flex is nice but the Soundcore X300 is a better value and sounds just as good up to 80% volume
Had the soundcore. It randomly stopped working after 6 weeks. I went to reviews and same has happened to other people. Shame because it actually sound good while it lasted.
That's really sad, I'm here now looking to replace my little Soundcore Flare Mini that gave me several good years. I wanted to see if there were better options instead of just buying the same one... good I did because so many people are complaining about Soundcore. Sad to see 😢
The Tribit Stormbox Blast is by far the best speaker for the price. At the moment I believe it's $150 after discount. The bass and performance is just under the JBL Boombox 3 (which i also own) that's $500.
I orderer the Soundcore x600 a few weeks ago and god very underwhelmed with it. The sound was very sharp, especially with rock and metal music and no matter how much I tweaked the eq I could not get it to sound decent.
That's not my experience at all. Tool sounds really good on the X600. Not as good as Tool sounds on my planar magnetic headphones, but still surprisingly good. Amazing when you consider the size of the speaker. Are you using LDAC (needs to be enabled in the Soundcore app)? Do you have a lossless or high def sound source? I am really blown away by the X600.
@@W_T.F In the first place I buy a Bluetooth speaker to play songs from my spotify smartphone app (where I downloaded the highest quality).
