I bought the re - releases 'Bright Lights' and 'Halcyon Days' from the branch of HMV in Whitefriargate in Kingston Upon Hull and they are both AMAZING albums! I thought Delerium was good but VERY different and she sounded like she went in a very different direction with that third record. Her fourth record Brightest Blue sounds almost Halcyon like in sound and I compare it to Halcyon in particular. Here hoping her upcoming fifth album sounds like Lights and Halcyon!

There was no autotune or effects (maybe some reverb at the desk) but she was very talented and a real musician. I was surprised by the direction she took. But money talks. It may have been "this is what you're doing next or nothing at all). Music business is ruthless.

I was a middle schooler back then and this song used to play on VIVA during their six o'clock program and I would totally jam out to it while having my bowl of cereal and later on my way to school I would listen to this song once more followed by starry eyed on my mp3 player. Also for some odd reason this song reminds me of iCarly (but I think that's because it used to be my favorite show back then!? ). Ah, these memories.

At 13 years old I would watch this video over and over on TH-cam, I loved the “clones” of her dancing in the background. Then downloading it on My iPod was even better.. getting to play it on repeat 1 million times. I loved this genre of her and stopped listening as much after pop took over her 😭
