Great music and film. I think it was the recession tbh. Economically bad periods usually produce great music etc. Look at the early to mid 70s and mid to late 80s. Then the late 00s to early 10s. Then by comparison the periods of good economic times produce mainly dry and overly happy music. What I notice anyways. Mid to late 90s for example was a huge boom for Europe and America and nothing but cheesy pop that was all happy and smiles

I have no clue dude. Seems like the 2000s and early to mid 2010s were the best time for real music. Now it seems like it's all about sex, money, and drugs. Granted they still had some references to this stuff in the good songs but those were songs you could actually understand.
