My Grandma passed away years ago and on the 7th night, we heard her crying & heard the sound of her walking with her walking stick.

During the 7th day after my cousins passed away (If I'm not mistaken, I think it was 7th day but it was definitely few days though), my late cousin's family members heard 'something' crying in the bathroom. Have you heard of the Chinese belief of the spirits of the deceased family returning to the home in the form of moths or butterflies? My other is pretty traditional and we have always burned offerings for her mother, my grandmother, on her death anniversary. Each time without fail, there'd be a single moth flying around us wherever it was we burned the offerings (normally in our garden). Same species each time. Then the year after my grandfather died, two of them started appearing. The 7th day thing didn't happen with my family though. Maybe different parts of Chinese culture???

Last Monday I woke up to a man standing next to my bed watching me sleep. I live alone. He vanished as soon as I asked him who he was. A couple years ago I was sleeping on the couch and woke up to a lady leaning over me and she said, "I'm here" and then I fell back asleep and didn't think twice about it. She said that when she was a little girl, she lived in a house with her sister, mother, little brother, and father. She shared a room with her sister, and she said that there door led to the hall, and at the end of the hall (They were at the end of the hall) was the door to the attic. She said that to pull it down, you would have to grab a string, and pull it as hard as you can, because it would be very hard to open, and a hatch would open and a make-shift ladder would come down. Now, the people who lived there before, had moved because the father had died in the attic. He had a heart attack and no one knew he did, so he just..... died. Anyway, so she and her sister were sitting in there room, talking. (Lights out, her parents thought they were asleep.) When they heard a loud creek. It sounded just like when they opened the attic. Then they heard loud, heavy, footsteps, coming down the attic ladder. She said that her and her sister stopped talking, and just looked at eachother, because they new their dad wasn't in the attic, and her mom/little brother couldn't make that much noise, because the footsteps were very heavy. And then, there door knob turned. Very slowly, as it to scare them. So they screamed, and the door knob stopped turning. There mom and dad ran into her room, and through the door, she could see that the hatch to the attic hadn't moved. Like it was never opened. She and her sister told them, and they said they were in there room, (There room was right next to theres) and they had not heard, or seen, a thing. So they let them sleep with them, and her little brother had heard it, so he slept there to. After that the whole class was terrified xD (If you're wondering how I remember this, I have a very freaky memory. :P)

I've seen two, I've seen one at a 200 year first settlement house, I was reading the history sign in front of the house. And I said out loud " I wonder how many Indian natives and new comers died for this land this house is on" and in front of my face swooped a foggy mist but in the shape of a tall man, and quickly backed up and swooshed away into the air but it moved as if it was runing. The other I saw the same mist like appearance while I was driving in the county back roads of Toronto and again in shape of a person swooshly ran across the road. I even slowed down and saw it disappear into the tall grass. I don't drink & drive and I don't smoke anything to get high, I know what I saw and it wasn't my imagination. Clouds cannot come down individually from the sky in shape of a person with arms & legs and run across the road. But i wasn't scared, just even more curious. & That's my story
Eli_Fai5 I think so too, if someone can give me REAL video/photographic proof of a ghost I'll believe it... but there's this thing called photoshop that makes it super easy for people to put ghosts in a photo. "Orbs" don't count, we can already explain those!
***** I've even spent the night in a haunted house as a dare with a friend, people are always raving about it being haunted - seeing and feeling stuff in there... I mean I heard noises and saw things in the corner of my eye, but I just scratch that to our dull sense of human perception. Our eyes and ears are very good at tricking us to be afraid, it's just one of our evolutionary adaptations to keep us alive. So I just shrugged it off and went to sleep, woke up alive and well. :P Of course that's just my experience and am not de-validating anyone else experiences. I'm open to believe but it's gonna have to take a clear human figure to appear in front of me to make that happen.
Raajur yes, of course everyone will have their own experiences with spirits ghosts whatever you want to call them and not everyone is going to believe with what they seen. Haha, not all ghosts or spirits intend to harm you, so I would have hoped that you were alive and well after spending a night in haunted house, I think they just want you to know they are there.
Once I saw a ghost in my house. I took my night clothes and towel for shower and right before, I saw a little girl coming out of the bathroom. She's like 8years old, she has blonde hair and she's a little beautiful white girl. At first, I was simply surprised. The second time I saw a ghost was at the beach. My grandpa read on the newspaper that there were a boat competition but it wasn't the correct day that we were to see it because it was for the weekend. So we decided to pass by the beach before going home. In front, I could see a man walking and at the same time, there was another vehicle coming in our direction. From the driver's seat, I could still see the man and at my window, I didn't see him and when I looked back, the man disappeared. I become whiter than the color white itself. I've never ever been so scared.

Alone in the bedroom, I heard a whisper "Hey" at my ear, I got so scared. At the same time, my friend ran so fast to my bedroom, jumped onto the bed and sticked herself to my back. She replied she heard a whisper "Hey" at her ear too when I asked her. We then slept with the light on.
I really wanna see/talk to a ghost. I mean, i would be lying to say i wouldn't be scared shitless but sitting down and having a conversation with a nice one wouldn't be bad at all!

Shortly after my gramma died i was feeling alot of guilt because(i know its kinda silly) i didnt get her a christmas card sent out this past christmas(she passed in the spring) mom kept saying make sure u send granma a xmas card ect... well i was really busy with two jobs and my family and exhausted and never got to it:( so i feel guilty. Anyway...shortly after she passed i had a dream of my granpa(passed in 2001) and gramma and i driving around in his car with me in the back seat...they were showing me around..where they live? like if you have ever seen a ghost ok now I'm going to tell you some ghost things thats has happened to my family..... 1. when I wasn't born yet my grandmothers clock slide across the wall she got it on recording surprisingly. 2. when I was in my old house my dad would hear me talking to myself but I always thought I was talking to him cuz I would get asked wanna go outside or wanna eat I'm hungry. 3. my step mom was sleeping and woke up to 2 Korean ladies talking through the vents but she checked outside and no one was there. 4. my dad woke up cuz he had to go to the bathroom he saw a tall shadowy figure in the corner of his room with green glowing eyes and it jumped at him and strangled him I was in the room when I saw the figure on my dad strangling him and I was balling my eyes out. 5. my little sister would get her blanket pulled off her in the middle of the night by no one cuz the baby monitor would go off when ever movement and you would never see anyone taking it off of her. 6. my sister would see a little girl in her closet and you would here her talking to her and playing and you know when you do that awkward jump and hug she did that and she was being held by an invisible little girl. 7. my sister would also see a man in her closet and she would be talking to him all night. 8. my cat died awhile ago and in our basement we would here her crying overnight like usual. 9. when I was in the kitchen getting myself some water before I went to bed the cupboard opened on its own and a cup fell out it was like someone was giving me a cup for me to get a drink and then the nob on the sink moved and the water turned on. thats it. comment any ghostly things happened to you and your family....
I was washing my hair (over the bath with my top on) and I smelled cigarettes, none of us smoke except my grandad who died a couple weeks before and it got cold and I just knew it was him telling me everything would be okay..
real stuff, ghosts as you call it, do exist, but they will never show themselves, cuz when human eyes are staring at them they cannot hide and only then they can be captured. feel free to contact me for more details
I have met respectable, educated, nice people who experienced ghosts encounters and I myself believe in ghosts although i can't see them. I feel like there are things that not everyone can experience and see but we gotta believe that it exists. Why is this important? We should not be scared of ghosts but believe that we coexist with these creatures. We should at least respect the nature and the world (and of course this is a subjective topic).

Not all ghost are evil. Ghost can be in form of a troubled spirit who did not die peacefully. So, some people are scared of them even if they in need some sort of help. Demons are evil. They only have one ultimate motive in this word that is to bring destruction of human civilisation (it's history with God). Hence, many people experience possessions or even psychological oppression.

This will sound weird but I see ghosts all the time. In my first house - when I as born - I would always see a little girl and I would play with her (I was like 5). Then I would see an older woman dressed in a massive gown (like Victorian) standing by my window, I would go and tell my parents but, of course being 5, they would never really believe me. When I moved house at 11 I would hear noises and see strange things all the time, when my parents checked the house papers it said that loads of people had died there. Also, in the houses first picture there was a little girl standing at the window behind the curtain it was weird. Anyway, I do believe in this type of stuff as my mum and dad see these types o things to...can anyone relate?

And I said out loud " I wonder how many Indian natives and new comers died for this land this house is on" and in front of my face swooped a foggy mist but in the shape of a tall man, and quickly backed up and swooshed away into the air but it moved as if it was runing. The other I saw the same mist like appearance while I was driving in the county back roads of Toronto and again in shape of a person swooshly ran across the road. I even slowed down and saw it disappear into the tall grass. I don't drink & drive and I don't smoke anything to get high, I know what I saw and it wasn't my imagination. Clouds cannot come down individually from the sky in shape of a person with arms & legs and run across the road. But i wasn't scared, just even more curious. & That's my story

I think that when you have actually seen something, you'll eventually believe it yourself. No one can show you proof.
***** I've even spent the night in a haunted house as a dare with a friend, people are always raving about it being haunted - seeing and feeling stuff in there... I mean I heard noises and saw things in the corner of my eye, but I just scratch that to our dull sense of human perception. Our eyes and ears are very good at tricking us to be afraid, it's just one of our evolutionary adaptations to keep us alive. So I just shrugged it off and went to sleep, woke up alive and well. :P Of course that's just my experience and am not de-validating anyone else experiences. I'm open to believe but it's gonna have to take a clear human figure to appear in front of me to make that happen.
Raajur yes, of course everyone will have their own experiences with spirits ghosts whatever you want to call them and not everyone is going to believe with what they seen. Haha, not all ghosts or spirits intend to harm you, so I would have hoped that you were alive and well after spending a night in haunted house, I think they just want you to know they are there.
Once I saw a ghost in my house. I took my night clothes and towel for shower and right before, I saw a little girl coming out of the bathroom. She's like 8years old, she has blonde hair and she's a little beautiful white girl. At first, I was simply surprised.
The second time I saw a ghost was at the beach. My grandpa read on the newspaper that there were a boat competition but it wasn't the correct day that we were to see it because it was for the weekend. So we decided to pass by the beach before going home. In front, I could see a man walking and at the same time, there was another vehicle coming in our direction. From the driver's seat, I could still see the man and at my window, I didn't see him and when I looked back, the man disappeared. I become whiter than the color white itself. I've never ever been so scared.

Alone in the bedroom, I heard a whisper "Hey" at my ear, I got so scared. At the same time, my friend ran so fast to my bedroom, jumped onto the bed and sticked herself to my back. She replied she heard a whisper "Hey" at her ear too when I asked her. We then slept with the light on.

Can anyone help me resolve this? Shortly after my gramma died i was feeling alot of guilt because(i know its kinda silly) i didnt get her a christmas card sent out this past christmas(she passed in the spring) mom kept saying make sure u send granma a xmas card ect... well i was really busy with two jobs and my family and exhausted and never got to it:( so i feel guilty. Anyway...shortly after she passed i had a dream of my granpa(passed in 2001) and gramma and i driving around in his car with me in the back seat...they were showing me around..where they live? And even friendly arguing lol. Granpa at point said something to me along the lines of "dont worry ill take care of her..or dont worry shes with me" -idk i cant remember but it was something close also something about bringing me home now(and they brought me home) it was a weird dream but ...i need to know what it REALLY was and meant
like if you have ever seen a ghost ok now I'm going to tell you some ghost things thats has happened to my family.....
1. when I wasn't born yet my grandmothers clock slide across the wall she got it on recording surprisingly.
2. when I was in my old house my dad would hear me talking to myself but I always thought I was talking to him cuz I would get asked wanna go outside or wanna eat I'm hungry.
3. my step mom was sleeping and woke up to 2 Korean ladies talking through the vents but she checked outside and no one was there.
4. my dad woke up cuz he had to go to the bathroom he saw a tall shadowy figure in the corner of his room with green glowing eyes and it jumped at him and strangled him I was in the room when I saw the figure on my dad strangling him and I was balling my eyes out.
5. my little sister would get her blanket pulled off her in the middle of the night by no one cuz the baby monitor would go off when ever movement and you would never see anyone taking it off of her.
6. my sister would see a little girl in her closet and you would here her talking to her and playing and you know when you do that awkward jump and hug she did that and she was being held by an invisible little girl.
7. my sister would also see a man in her closet and she would be talking to him all night.
8. my cat died awhile ago and in our basement we would here her crying overnight like usual.
9. when I was in the kitchen getting myself some water before I went to bed the cupboard opened on its own and a cup fell out it was like someone was giving me a cup for me to get a drink and then the nob on the sink moved and the water turned on.

I have met respectable, educated, nice people who experienced ghosts encounters and I myself believe in ghosts although i can't see them. I feel like there are things that not everyone can experience and see but we gotta believe that it exists. Why is this important? We should not be scared of ghosts but believe that we coexist with these creatures. We should at least respect the nature and the world (and of course this is a subjective topic).

Not all ghost are evil. Ghost can be in form of a troubled spirit who did not die peacefully. So, some people are scared of them even if they in need some sort of help. Demons are evil. They only have one ultimate motive in this word that is to bring destruction of human civilisation (it's history with God). Hence, many people experience possessions or even psychological oppression.

This will sound weird but I see ghosts all the time. In my first house - when I as born - I would always see a little girl and I would play with her (I was like 5). Then I would see an older woman dressed in a massive gown (like Victorian) standing by my window, I would go and tell my parents but, of course being 5, they would never really believe me. When I moved house at 11 I would hear noises and see strange things all the time, when my parents checked the house papers it said that loads of people had died there. Also, in the houses first picture there was a little girl standing at the window behind the curtain it was weird. Anyway, I do believe in this type of stuff as my mum and dad see these types o things to...can anyone relate?
