  • Plumbers are in great demand and can earn great pay with excellent benefits, including health insurance and 401-k plans. At Roto-Rooter, nothing holds back plumbers from plenty of opportunities to move up in the company in supervisory positions to senior management.
    Dave chose a career in plumbing when he was still in high school. Since joining Roto-Rooter at 18, he has steadily been promoted to higher positions of authority and responsibility with the company. Dave Jones has never regretted his career choice and he encourages others to consider careers in plumbing. Roto-Rooter loves to see their employees succeed by getting licensed and advance their career. Plumbers are always in high demand, people will always have plumbing issues. Roto-Rooter is always looking for talented, hard-working people that want to set themselves up for a bright future.

    Davey Jones, I've been trying to figure out a way to get in touch with you for years... this video is legit the same conversation that we had when I interviewed with you in Charlotte... I've grown 10 folds since I worked there and I'd love to talk to you again... the principals that you laid out... you're a business model for success... if I knew half of what I know now... I'd have been making 6 figures back there but I do that now... and it all started with the conversation that I had with you brother... I'd love to tell you thank you face to face... I'm in western pa... I know you're probably not gonna see this, but one day, I'm gonna thank you in person

    It is really nice hearing the potential to move up within the company instead of all of the office folks being hired outside.

    Dave your brief life and successful career story in this Video is truly inspiring. You should be invited to give THE talk to all final year Graduands especially in Trade and Tech Schools, Colleges and Unis. I am not a plumber but i kind of know what plumber does. It's hard dirty dangerous yet very essential profession in the industry to say the least! Think of it this way. Should men discover there is WATER in another Planet i guess Plumber will be One of the first professionals to be send there to get life going.... all Plumbers should be proud and carry their heads high. They are doing us great services.
    Bravo Dave. 👏👏👏

      There are company-owned Roto-Rooter branches in metro Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. Additionally, there are independent contractors and franchises covering most other markets in Ohio. Our company gets lots of calls for service and we're at the forefront of training and preparing our new hires for careers in plumbing. • @RotoRooterTV
      @RotoRooterTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@playboihiggins5133 Transfers are not uncommon between company-owned branches, but we cannot speak for an independently-owned and operated Roto-Rooter franchise, except to say that it would be very likely possible. Company-owned branches are always looking for good employees and would likely welcome a transfer from a franchise location. And while the reverse is probable, the local franchise owner would have a final say on who they hire and accept.

      Don't do it. Plumbing is a stressful and physically demanding job. Long hours and if you have a family and children then you definitely want to stay away. You will work holidays and miss things for your kids. A lot of customers look down upon you and want to jew you down on the price for your repair services.

      There is a shortage of experienced plumbers in North America. You can earn a good living as a plumber. The more years of experience you have, the more types of jobs you'll be able to complete, and the more money you'll earn. Typically, in the U.S. and Canada, you'll work at least 40 hours a week. If you have no experience, you'll need to attend a plumbing trade school, if possible, to get a basic understanding of the trade.
