interesting but a bit of a shame as well. That was my family car as a kid - even down to the same colour. And the great thing about these cars was a pretty soulful engine which had good performance for its time. Can't help thinking that if you want an electric car, that it would be better to convert a less rare and more boring car. Still it's the customer who wanted this

The nice thing about doing conversion on a classic car you now don’t have to get under it to adjust the valves ever, just charge it and go enjoy the driving your classic with out the smell and possibly a A/C in it now.

Which Tesla drive did you use on this 412? Great video.

Great video and just a couple of questions if that’s okay. I see you use Tesla batteries etc would it more cost efficient to use Zoe or Leaf batteries instead. Can the kit be easily modified to fit any other classic I.e a Triumph Tr7. Keep up the great work and any info would be great 😀😀

Hi Andrew, we don't use Tesla batteries. Our batteries are new, not used. Using other old batteries would be cheaper but would be hard to replicate if we do builds again, the fabrication would need to start from scratch. Plus, we can't put a warranty on used batteries. We hold the design for all our kits, so we can modify it to any classic vehicle (especially a Triumph!). Email us hi@edubservices.co.uk

I was travelling with a Karman Ghia owner last week, also from ‘73 I think, and also mentioned the washers being driven with the air from the spare. Nice job Kit 👏👏
