Well I have a client that her dog had dew claws intact and one got hung up on an afghan on her chair. Dew claw was tangled up, the dog was moving fast and it ripped their tiny little paw blood everywhere! Poor thing had to be rushed to have emergency surgery and it cost over $2000. WDYTN b? She threw the afghan away of coarse.
These are thumbs and they really use them. My dog uses them to grab and hold things... I keep them trimmed by the way.
