My 1994 Eagle Vision TSI is still running strong today, it has good gas mileage and is easy to maintain, no doubt I'll still drive this car in the next 20 years
This was my first full sized sport sedan. Bought it for cheap and loved it for two maybe three years before it was totaled in a highway accident. Still miss that car...
Back in 03 I was 15, my dad bought me a 01 Chrysler Concorde with 30k miles for my second car actually, I owned a 95 maxima, I would offroad it, launch it, it wouldn't let me neutral drop it, it was a 2 year old car at the time, I put it though hell, I would launch it at every stop light, I would change the oil every 3k miles, gave me 0 issues in the 2 years I owned it.
That's exactly what I was thinking. We had a 94 new Yorker in my family. The engine pulled strong and the brakes were great but the reliability was a big issue.
I think this was the best looking of the first gen LH cars. This is the only one that still looks good to me. Eagle was basically AMC rebranded so u could say this was AMCs last sedan.
Yes and no, if chrysler never bought them there's no telling what they would've made had they survived into the 90s, probably plasticy fwd sedans much like everyone else was making at the time, but the chrysler buyout of AMC is almost the only reason the grand Cherokee and eagle exist in the first place.
When you consider that Chrysler went from K-car based sedans to this, and on a budget far less that GM and Ford, it's pretty clear the LH cars were game changers. If only the engine and transmissions help up better, it could have been a true import-killer.
This and a Grand Cherokee would have been a dream 90s garage.
An 1988 design In 2022 Absolutely still have game today so futuristic! Love this car❤️❤️
it's amazing how different two brains can be..I'd hate to see your wife if double emoji hearted this thing...lol
I love this Eagle Vision TSi. 3.5 liter, 24 valve, SOHC 214 hp, 221LB-FT torque wowwwww

I had a 96 Eagle Vision. It was a good, comfortable and reliable car.
I really wanted one of these soooo bad back in those days but missed the opportunity because I made another car purchase the year before

they might have not lasted well but the LH cars were nice back then.

Why was Autoweek always so forceful with shifters, it's like they were trying on purpose to break the handle.
If it can't handle that, then it's not going to handle 10 years of normal driving
And overly critical of Gauges
The second gen Eagle Vision ( aka 1999-2004 Chrysler 300m ) looks much better in my option 👍
Agreed
The 300m was literally stunning when it first came out. It held up well over the years.
@@dabnisbrickey6527 very true. I own 2 of them and people still tell me that's a nice looking car .
This first generation, though similar to the Chrysler Concorde and Dodge Intrepid, the Eagle iteration somehow looked a tad better, more unique.
That tester guy is always wearing sexy sneakers
I remember being in the intrepid version of this car but I don't remember it being this slow... it had quite a kick. was that version just quicker?
I had the 3.5 Intrepid and it was quicker. I think each place gets different results.

Is this what AMC would have been if they had lived?

I saw one of these about five years ago and did a double take, I forgot they existed
1:58 That looks more like the speedometer, not tach. ;-)
Imagine paying $26k for a first gen LH car at any time period....
"Affordable price" 26k back then is about 40k now.
Nice😀
Nice
Nice
That’s funny, the fake elevator music in the back in the beginning is fly like an Eagle rip off
tiptronic is so much more intuitive
The dark days of the automotive industry.
I lost my virginity in this car…. It was messy
