In the Vanadis rework inspection, we have arrived on my formerly favorite variant, and I'm happy to report that the Raven's Sister has reclaimed her crown in my heart. Previously, she was quite convoluted, survival came down to proper Dome management, and it was a stretch even for her to really pop off with a DoT build, but all of that is no more IF you can get Connection rolling. I felt pretty good in all stages of the game, and you can find the boss fights at 23:09, 49:42, and 1:16:16. Only one variant remains in the investigation, and I hope to see you there -- thanks for watching!
It definitely felt pretty obscene, but I think the fault lies in the generation and not the Raven's Sister passive... probably. I think the biggest contributor is Strengthen Connection (Deal 12 damage, increase Connection by value of health damage dealt) because of how that scales with Vanadis' Strength, and Hoogin just demonstrated its insanity by how he can gain defense, inflict DoTs, and deal raw damage all based on Connection. I'm really not sure how to reel this back without quite a lot of fiddling. 🤔
@Fableheim "Reduce how much "Strengthen Connection gives you" would be my only idea. I mean, you don't even get to play around with frostbite. It just explodes all at once.
@@AngryGerbils Yeah, the new Frostbite felt very bizarre when full committing to it, but it pops are 10 Connection, which can be easily obtained with Raven's Sister's base cards. 🤔

Yep! They even have their own side story these days, but I've been saving that (and most of them) for full release.

Yeah, this needs a nerf. I'm sorry. Being able to generate 30 Connection on the first turn of battle, with no way to reduce it? Too stronk.
