Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield-Chilling Reign is the name given to the sixth main expansion of cards from the Sword & Shield Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (the Sword & Shield Era in Japan). The set features characters and Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass, focusing on Calyrex in its merged forms with Glastrier and Spectrier.

Card unboxings just have the perfect mix of sounds for ASMR. Crinkly plastic, tapping on cardboard, shuffling of packs and cards, and of course whispers. All my favorite triggers in one go.

I haven't collected cards since the 90s but I still watch these because I find them so comforting. I am stuck in isolation due to COVID and haven't seen my friends in months but having you talk in the background is great company and it's delightful to hear your genuine joy at what you discover. Lol I remember getting my Mom to buy me Pokémon cards in the stores. I never was interested in playing the game I just really like the pictures and the crisp newness of the cards, I kept them pristine in plastic in binders and would just sit and look over them in silence listening to the crinkle of the binder and running my fingers over the pictures
I'd do the exact same thing, my friend. I didn't know how to play, and didn't have any friends as a kid, so I'd just fawn over my collection.
This lowkey makes me want to get back into collecting cards. RIP to the binder I had full of them when I was younger 😭

I found this to be very relaxing to watch and listen to. I don't collect or play Pokemon cards but Bluewhisper's enthusiasm for and description of what the cards are makes this vdo enjoyable to watch. The systematic unwrapping of the packaging and the sound it makes is soothing to me. (I have Pokemon GO on my phone so I knew a few of the characters in the deck.) 80)

Strange. It’s almost as if the packing system in the factory decided that more reverse holo rares offset the lack of V-Maxes etc in this box. You got about six in a row I think!

I saw that a lot of poison types were labeled as dark. Was there a change in their typing? Was poison type removed from the series?
