My only problem is that even if it is era appropriate, why would an archeologist smoke tobacco in an ancient ruin??? Not only are the ashes going to stay there, but doesn’t the smoke of tobacco cause build up over time? Like, nothing against the video because it was freaking beautiful with the cinematography and the era accuracy, but that was my only real complaint

This is why I love your videos. There is no tapping just for the sake of tapping- every sound and movement you make has reason and purpose behind it- inspecting a treasure, showing off a piece of merchandise, using a machine to make something, ect.. And massive bonus points for having silent versions of everything. It's everything I look for in ASMR. Outstanding work!

I can remember being 9 years old and acting this scene out with a cheap vase instead of an idol, this is highest caliber cinematic asmr, you even have the little movements and mannerisms of Harrison Ford !! new sub :)
Ok, Indiana Jones is the last thing I could imagine to be a source of ASMR, but you prove it's possible! Listened to first 12 minutes and fell to sleep already. Also the sound quality is extraordinary here - each rustle, creak and scratch are perfectly audible, the jungle background noise is not overwhelming, the variety of sounds is wide , great recording and editing.
Simply stunning as usual for you Maxence. Amazing set. All props used for your triggers have a meaning in the story and don't seem to be unrelated gadgets. The shimmering light at the back, the idol, your suit, everything is so damn close to the franchise. Fantastic job 👍👍👍

This is by far my top fav asmr video, I listen to it every day at work while I am doing contracts. I am not usually a fan of asmr that has only ONE sound, like keyboard clicking and hair brushing, it gets boring. THIS is amazing; so many different sounds and even if I am not watching it sounds like a very high def story. This and the ones you make with the electronics like the cassette player repair with the ticks and clings, and stuff like that just send shivers down my spine

Look, I can't help but echo everyone's sentiment in saying that this has quickly become one of my, if not my absolute favourite ASMR video I've ever seen and that I'll definitely be returning to it often. But man I couldn't help but giggle at the fact that your version of Indy not only calculated in the exact weight of the statue, but also calculated in the amount of money he could put on the pedestal afterwards without springing the trap, lol. I didn’t notice that this was an ASMR video at first. I read the title too quickly and thought that this was going to be a comedy sketch based on Indiana Jones. As I'm sitting here waiting for a joke, I start thinking to myself, "wow, the sound in this video is incredible." Then I read the title again and it made sense. I also felt a little foolish. So yeah, great sound!
Long before TH-cam, heck, long before the Internet was as available as it is today, as well as ASMR even being called ASMR (coined in 2010), I sat in my fathers apartment, watching Indiana Jones solving stuff like the "Map Room" puzzle of The City of Tanis, whispering to himself, flipping through his notes, running his fingers through sand, etc. I experienced a sensation of a thin rubber band around my head, rolling slowly from the top of my head, downward, before dissipating as it got to my ears, then repeated after a few second. It was not an unpleasant feeling, but I got some stares from my sisters, when I tried to explain the sensation to them, asking if they felt it too. So yeah, Indiana Jones was probably my earliest memory of experiencing ASMR. Nicely done 👏 I quite enjoy aesthetic ASMR, where the scenery plays as much of a role, as the sound design.
This ASMR variant is like, next-level stuff! I mean, it's so rare, it's almost like a unicorn! The quality is, like, top-notch, and the film editing is on point - way fresher than all those lame TH-cam vids. Thanks a ton for hooking us up with this totally unique piece of art.🙌

Look, I can't help but echo everyone's sentiment in saying that this has quickly become one of my, if not my absolute favourite ASMR video I've ever seen and that I'll definitely be returning to it often.
But man I couldn't help but giggle at the fact that your version of Indy not only calculated in the exact weight of the statue, but also calculated in the amount of money he could put on the pedestal afterwards without springing the trap, lol. Movie Indy could never 😆

I didn’t notice that this was an ASMR video at first. I read the title too quickly and thought that this was going to be a comedy sketch based on Indiana Jones. As I'm sitting here waiting for a joke, I start thinking to myself, "wow, the sound in this video is incredible." Then I read the title again and it made sense. I also felt a little foolish. So yeah, great sound!
And this is still a bit of a comedy / parody! Haha
The camera panning and moving is an incredible detail, also the set design and outfit, spiffy!

Long before TH-cam, heck, long before the Internet was as available as it is today, as well as ASMR even being called ASMR (coined in 2010), I sat in my fathers apartment, watching Indiana Jones solving stuff like the "Map Room" puzzle of The City of Tanis, whispering to himself, flipping through his notes, running his fingers through sand, etc. I experienced a sensation of a thin rubber band around my head, rolling slowly from the top of my head, downward, before dissipating as it got to my ears, then repeated after a few second.
It was not an unpleasant feeling, but I got some stares from my sisters, when I tried to explain the sensation to them, asking if they felt it too. So yeah, Indiana Jones was probably my earliest memory of experiencing ASMR.
