I'm a Joel Salatin permaculture >Healer, Fiber Artists, Organic Food teacher. Henceforth your interview of Joel led me to your channel, which is an amazing Next gen X needed retreat grounds. My woods and farm is on 12.91 beautiful acres. Thank you both.
Why was the property you bought in the end, initially a 'brush-off'? What changed it for you? From what you shared it sounds idyllic so I'm wondering why it was last on the list in your search. I'm also wondering how it's managed if the tiny home owners turn out to have a different vision...as I have friends who were part of a community & a couple who had their RV there turned out to be problematic to put it mildly & kindly & they couldn't get them to leave... so my friends walked away with big losses. Thanks muchly!!
The financing you talked about with the wealth management company / concept sounds wild!! What a sweet deal!! When the 3 years is up & you have the opportunity to buy the property...is it already pre-arranged at a certain price or does it get appraised at the 3 year mark for market value at that time? What if the one holding the property doesn't want to sell it to you? Or you don't have the funds / funding in 3 years? Sounds like a sweet deal but also risky no?
