Also, I believe that his visor was, initially, for the purpose of controlling the intensity of the beams by narrowing and focusing the spread, though, I'm ashamed to admit that I'm unaware if the beams, unchecked without ruby quartz, come out at full intensity, or is he able to determine the strength of the blast with his eyelids or even by force of thought? Another point is the touting of Cyclops' math skills, which makes me wonder how the surface that he is banking off, remains unscathed, while the end target is obliterated? And, lastly, by what chicanery are those optic blasts capable of "pushing" people, so a physical effect ,without burning or incising the target. This suggests that Scott's visor controls both intensity(strength), and array spread (width, distance and peripheral range). I'll have to Google the visor and know, for certain. At one time ( approximately 37-40 yrs ago) I owned a Marvel supplemental dedicated to all weapons and paraphernalia, though I can't recall reading about the visor, at the time, The Summers family were still getting their juice from solar energy. I, lastly, wanted to mention to the host, and fact-checkers that excepting some with physical deformities as a result of their mutation, all mutants are naturally, in top physical condition with the agility and balance of an Olympic athlete, so it seems redundant to mention that in reference to particular mutants.
I just realized that I share an ability with Kitty Pryde. I can walk through walls too, but I need a technological device to do it. It's called a door.
Now I'm wondering if this psychic resistance is as a result of training from Professor X or if he installs some sort of protection, or is it implied that, mere, proximity to psychics of the magnitude in question, is enough for some measure of protection.

Jean Grey could not fly before becoming Phoenix. She lifted herself telekinetically similar to how she lifts objects. Flying is a different movement measure hence as Phoenix why she was surprised. Marvel understood this hence why it was written this way in the comic books.

I have a question for any one with thoughts about it, since magneto is basically a God of magnetism, and all magnetism and electricity create and effect each other, couldn't he also effect light photons, to make you see whatever he wants?, it's just he would do it in the " physical world" so through the physical eyes of people whereas those like Xavier do so through the minds eyes instead.

I don't like USM Spider-Gwen and Spinneret, as both get their powers from their suits (MJ may be a hero now, but she is STILL incapable of defending herself as a civilian, as her spider-powers come from her suit- though she later gets a new suit that turns out to be Venom)! I mean, imagine being attacked as a civilian, which makes you realise that you are strong ONLY as long as you have some tech-suit on! Not to mention, you are the successor/substitute of a hero who has/had the powers at their disposal 24/7!😑
I've always thought that on a level of mutant DNA, it's interesting how wolverine and beast seem to have had very similar abilities coded in , and and the regen ability being associated with being "animal" like in body, and in "berserker" mode might indicate that the mutant gene isn't random like we think, but more of a virus that effects certain DNA families to create the powers we see manifest
