I’ve been coaching on and off for 33 years coached high school 25 years ago now I’m training my 11 year old son and man I learn so much watching these videos he’s amazing
My son scored 20 points in his first breakout game (6-8 years). In his league, they play zone inside the key no full court press. They still double teamed my son and he’s never seen a double team. I will work on this jab step religiously with him. I know he will shift that double team when he masters this skill ⛹🏽♂️ thanks hoop study!
Really like your videos. Wish I stumbled on this channel way earlier. Knowing the game and teaching the game are two different things. Basketball came natural to me and now I found myself in a place where I have to teach gals from scratch how to play. This channel is helping me teach the fundamentals. Keep them videos coming. @John doue Quebec it's off a two foot stop on a catch. Then you can jab whatever way you want. You lead with inside foot and hip and shoulder is lower than defender. Seriously simple and deadly. Plus you also have off hand protecting... Cheers from NB!
