- Today, In this 6th Episode of Iran 2021 series, I am going to visit an ancient Sikh Gurudwara/Temple located in the capital city of IRAN named Tehran. While I was reading some articles about Indian Community in IRAN, I came to know that lakhs of Indians who used to live in IRAN left because of some political issues but still there are few Indian Sikh families who still represent the minority Indian Community in IRAN. In 1980 I was in Tehran.I visited this Gurdwara Sahib so many times.
قران مُقدس کا شریک کعبہ تم شِرک پرستیوں نے بنا دیا اور مغرب کی طرف سجدہ کرنا شروع کر دیا تم کافروں نے
رب اُلعالمین لا مکان اور لا محدود ہے وہ سبھ حُنروں کا بھرپُور خزانہ ہے وہ بی پایان ہے اور کُل جھان کی تخلیق اندر وہ نور کا اخراج ہے بابا گُرُو نانک صاحب کا مُبارک کلام جپ جی صاحب کے اندر رب کی ھستی اور وجود کو بڑی با خوبی سے بیان کیا گیا ہے
مسلمانوں نے لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله کہہ کر
اپنے نبی کو رب کا شریک بنا دیا
اول نام خدا کا ہے لیکن دوسرا نام رسول کا نہیں کیونکہ اُس رب کے در پر بی شُمار نبی اور رسول نوکران چاکران بن کر خِدمت کرتیں ہیں
اُس رب کی درگاہ میں قبول ہونے کے لئے صرف کلمہ نہیں بلکه صاف نیت اور پاک ذهن هی قبول ہو سکتے ہیں
اُس خداوند کریم کے در پر بے شُمار شیخ مشایخ اولیاء پیر پیغمبر اور رسول نوکران چاکران بن کر خِدمت کرتیں ہیں کسے اِک کو رب کے برابر کا درجہ نھیں دیا جا سکتا جو
جو کلمه بابا گُرُو نانک صاحب کو الہام سے حاصل ہوئے اُن ہی کلمه کو اپنا سَت گُرُو یعنی سچہ گُرُو قبولدیاں نانک کو پیغمبر کا درجہ رب کی برکت سے حاصل ہوا اور اُس سچے گُرُو کے حکم کے تحت حق سچ کا پیغام دیا اور خود کو اُس کا نوکر کہلایا
کرتار قُدرت کرن خالق نانک تیری ٹیَک
نانک اپنے آپ کو رب کے در کا نیچ کہہ کر فرماتے ہیں
اور رب کی برکت ہی نیچوں میں ہوتی ہے
نیچاں اندر نیچ ذات
نیچی ہوُں اَت نیچ
نانک تِن کے سنگ ساتھ
وڈیاں سیو کیا ریس
جِتھےَ نیچ سمالیْن تِتھےَ ندر تیری بخشیش
رب نے اپنا کلمہ نانک کی زبان سے بولا اور بابا نانک صاحب نے اُس ھی کلمه کو شبدوں کے ذریعے بیان کرتے ہوئے اُس رب میں انضمام ہو گئے

Ik oankar - One absolute being (God)
Satnam - Eternal truth it's name
Karta Purkh - Creator
Nirbau - without fear
Nirvair - without hate/ enmity
Akal Murat - Deathless/timeless image
Ajuni - Beyound birth and death
Saibang - self existant
Gurprasad - known by the Guru's Grace.
This is repeated numerous times and at the start of every section as a constant reminder.
In the words of the tenth Sikh Guru - Guru Gobind Singh "recognise the human race as ONE"

No the truth is different. The original name of zahedan was DOZAP but ordinary people pronounced it as Dozdan which means the place of thiefs. So at the request of some official, Reza Shah changed it to a name which is the exact opposite of place of thiefs ie the place of the pious. Zahedan means the place of the pious.

We know that the followers of Abu Bakr and Umar and Abu Bakr's daughter Ayesha who launched war against Shia Leader Ali in Battle of Camel ( Jang E Jamal ) the Sunnis can never be same as Shias. As everyone knows that Pakistan and it's proxies are all Sunni and follow Abu Bakr and Umar. We Indians and Iranians have much in common and i would encourage people to carry out more trade and expand economic relationship between eachother. I also support Iran against Saudi Arabia because it funds Pakistani Sunni Extremist groups which harm both India and Iran.

I was in Tehran in Yrs. 1977,-79. About 3 or 4 times I visited gurudwara & had kunvar there. There was a Indian store also.
What was Iran like when you visited? Was it modern? Did women not wear veils?

@☪️Mughal Empire Not entirely , Persia(Iran) is 8000 year old society , for 2000 years they had dharmic aryan culture just like Indians , then they adopted Zoroastrianism and they believed in Ahura Mazda as their god for nearly 4000 years and nearly 1200 year ago they became sunni muslim and 500 years ago they again adopted Shia Islam , Iran has been a non abrahamic society for most of its history

I wanted to share this information as your confusion is valid, actually "Mitra" in old Persian/Avestan meant Sun God, just like "Mitra" means Sun in Vedic Sanskrit, also Iranian people celebrates the festival of Sun god Mitra as Yalda which comes in autumn.

Incomplete and bit confusing information being given regarding Iran it's governing system and the Leader of Iran. Some information seems to be taken from those who like the old monarchy system. The fact is that Leader is also a public elected person and even can be sacked by Guardian Council, which is again an elected Council. (For details read Iranian Constitution). .

There is misconception wht u said is nt true. In Iran afgan sikh ppl r living at the tym of guru nanak visited the place nd next generation migrate at the tym of maharaja ranjit singh. On that tym there were no creation of india. There were riyasats in this subcontinent. After then britishers won riyasats then make a single country.

Sir there is also a large community of Shia Muslims from India especially of Lucknow and North States living in Iran.
If you get time please visit them too as India and Iran are old friends and also unlike Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan which are Sunni Majority countries who have always been at odds with India and Hindus the Shias of India and Iran are very friendly with Indians and Hindus.
We should support Iran and Shias.
There are entire towns in Iran named on Indian Names such as Henduabad, Isfahan. As everyone knows that there used to be many Shia Dynasties in India who had deep connection with Iran. Bahmani Empire and Qutub Shahi Dynasty was Shia dynasty in Southern India who's king's grave Iranian President visited during his visit to India. Also Nawabs of Awadh and Bengal funded many religious as well as economic projects for Shias in Iran and Including Building Al Hindiyah Cannal in Iraq near Najaf and Karbala.
