Sultana Hürrem blames Prince Mustafa because Prince Mehmet has got wounded by an arrow. Sultan Suleiman falls out with Prince Mehmet. Firuze tries to protect herself in the palace until Sultan Suleiman returns. Nigar gets together with her daughter but Sultana Hatice doesn't like it at all.
After Prince Mehmet has got wounded, Hürrem accuses Prince Mustafa. Sultan Suleiman falls out with Prince Mustafa and also sorrows that his son is in the pain of death. As Suleiman shares the pain with Hürrem, he gets up against his son Mustafa for the first time. The tension rises and rises in Manisa Palace.
Rüstem Aga learns Firuze's secret. He decides to wait for Hürrem to share this secret. However, he has to explain why Firuze is wounded to İbrahim Pasha when they go back to the palace.
Nigar gets together with her daughter that she has thought she is dead. However, she has to fall apart with her daughter with Sultana Hatice's visit. Hatice doesn't want fire and gunpowder to sleep together. That's why she offers İbrahim to take the child to her palace, but there is nothing that Nigar can't do to be able to take her daughter back.
Suleiman and Hürrem return to Istanbul after the dark days they have had. Hürrem sees that Firuze is still in the palace and spits fire on Rüstem Aga. However, she gets shocked when Rüstem tells her Firuze's secret. Hürrem shows her cards and gets prepared to deal a death blow.

Thank goodness for Rustem! Glad he is on Hurrem's side, he's a smart man. I enjoyed this so much, not only Hurrem throwing the snake in the dungeon...finally...but when Hurrem told Afife Hatun: "I deemed it appropriate" Later on, too, when Afife tells Suleiman what Hurrem gave as her reason? Priceless!

Hürrem is a very good actress, she can easily change moods from soft, charming into a tigress.
Especially when she was angry as rustem didnt killed firuze, and next moment she a clever fox like smile.. 😂 I really loved the rustem-hurrem duo.. Partners in crime.. Before hurrem had to fight and plan alone..

I love this. Technically she could have executed her straight away and got away with it given the tattoo but she still left Suleiman to decide. As valide she had the power but played safe so she didn't upset him

Where was Afife when Hürrem was in the dungeon? She was one of the sultan’s favorites too
And the difference being, Firuze/Humaira Hatun was a spy, and Hurrem was just thrown in by Valide to appease Mahidevran.
But, I have a feeling, Afife is too principled. It's possible that Valide, Mahidevran or Ibrahim wouldn't have been able to harass Hurrem as much with Afife around. Especially, that incident of of riots and burning Hurrem's face, or having Ibrahim send assassins after Hurrem.
Valide wouldn't have been able to shield Mahidevran after Mahi poisoned Hurrem at Suleiman's table.
In retirement at the time. Remember Daye Hatun was in charge of the harem affairs at the time.

The Sultan was not in the harem for two years! He was with Firuze twice before the campaign and spent one night afterwards, during the initiation of Mehmed. Then Hurem tried to keep things from going further! What years are you talking about

Firuze was a pointless thing but she was the poetry and music 🎼 that historically Sultan Suleiman was partly charmed by maybe. She's not beautiful but she was charming in that she shared his love for those arts 🙂 and she was lively, maybe her youthfulness compared to this Hurrem Sultan was meant to represent that? Idk
After all, they didn't give all of it to Haseki Hurrem Sultan in the series, just like they never showed her ability for policy both internal and external.

@@malorzatadomin7836 when you have many enemies you may only know relevant information. Rustem likely investigated for a while and dug deep into the symbol before realising who Firuze was. I did a quick dive into the Safavid Dynasty and the family was very old (11th century), they were only established as a dynasty in 1501. The tattoo could have been their symbol anytime in between the 11th and 16th century.

@@malorzatadomin7836 and the Persian Empire was much older than the Ottoman, Sulieman was likely educated on recent and current symbols of the members of the Persian dynasties. After all, he had to be educated on many different subjects all at once. An obscure tattoo from an old family Persian family is hardly likely to be included and if it was, 20-30 years later, how likely would he be to remember it?
