Sony doesn't like money. Imagine requiring a PSN account to play a single player game. PSN is not available in 180+ countries. Meaning it's not for sale for those countries. Good luck having less sales Sony.
I am interested in seeing how this game performs since the system requirements are HALF of every other UE5 game despite looking like it supports the same features. Maybe just because it's more on rails and controlled compared to some other games they can sqeeze more out of the engine?
Sure, cause you gonna need over 400 FPS for a slow paced, story driven, single player game. It would be stupid, expecially on PC, if it will be locked on " Just " 60 FPS but if It"s not, at 100/120 FPS it will be already a great experience.
480 Hz monitors are not really meant for story games, no GPU and CPU combo can run a recently released triple A title at those frames to begin with. They are targetting E-sports gamers mainly.
I, like Daniel, have concerns about performance/upscaling. This port could be very unoptimized in UE5. It's really easy for a dev working for a studio to fall into the temptation of slapping together a port in UE5 that works... works inefficiently that is. And then to make it faster, they're like, "just throw on some upscaling!" And if this is a cash grab from Sony, they won't much care whether people take the time to optimize it. We should also be worried about bugs if that's the case.
well its a non existing problem if you can use DLSS and play at 1440p or better 4k output res bc DLSS Upscaling looks amazing and especially at 4k output res, you can use DLSS Quality with zero difference to native, in many games you can go even up to performance and you're hard-pressed to find any visual problems.
I think ray tracing is enable on medium, high and very high setting, because all the video card in these settings support ray tracing. In medium, the ray tracing could be set a low, high at medium and very high at high. The CPU will compute at 30 Scene Per Second while the GPU will be at 60 FPS with frame generation except for very high setting in which the CPU could compute at 60 SPS (because of more precise movement reflection or distance of ray tracing at 4K). The forest may look more alive because the light and shadow will move according to the branch or leave. I hope UE 5 will make the scene more atmospheric to the story tone.
Game requirements should always first be stated _without_ upscaling and frame generation and then note how things can be "improved" using these so-called enhancements. Regarding the leap from 4K 30FPS to 4K 60FPS, at least 30FPS but less than 60FPS could mean 58FPS.
A 3090 ultra no chance. I have a 4090 and Ryzen 7 7700 with 64GB of ram and it’s on a 1tb SSD. When everything is set to ultra, native 4K with all of the ray tracing on I’m getting 35-60FPS. It’s bringing my 4090 to its knees. So a 3080ti no chance. Where are they gettting that from

I can max pretty much everything out still but dont. Most games are not optimised at all now and most settings barely offer anything over something slightly lower. I just go ahead use optimised settings on everything unless the games old enough where it doesnt matter.
is there really a reason to replay a Narrative driven game ? sure it will have shinier graphics and all that jazz but unless they are adding a lot more to the table vs the original 2015 version Sony might end up with a dud here and when it does they might point that its proof that single player games are dying.
Also, newer ipc let's 3080 TI fly. Everything except ue5 games and I'm bottlenecking my 3080 TI with 5950x at 1440p. Ue5 uses those extra cores and spreads the load and let's my gpu do great work. Especially with ray tracing. Cores cores cores.

They can even suffer losses like concord as it's not going to affect their competition . They can price their mid gen refresh how much ever they want, nobody is going to question them. They want to make it all digital so that they can control the entire game prices for ps games. Used copies won't work if there ain't a disc drive ( they want you to think you can get a disc drive but it's going to be out of stock )
@@dr.sivavignesh664 I wouldn't give Sony too much credit. They most likely didn't foresee the scalping problem for disc drives that was going to arise the moment they announced the PS5 Pro without a disc drive. It's going to hurt their sales more as not everyone will be willing to shell out that much money even without a disc drive at all. For most people out there that wouldn't mind burning a hole in their pockets, this would also most likely discourage them from getting a PS5 Pro if they can't easily get a disc drive from them altogether.
Mine would run it great if I could figure out why it started crashing.... Picture goes out but the pc stays on so I have to hard reset and then I have to completely reinstall the amd drivers... Last 2 times I did it I ran a stress test and AFTER the stress test was successful it immediately did it. A couple of the times it happened the red led by the power connector on the GPU came on but its doesnt always happen.... Weirdest part is I had the same issue last year when I had a 6600xt and it stopped somehow, upgraded to a 6800 and never had the issue, replaced that with a 7900gre in April and no issues until a couple days ago.
These requirements seem reasonable and modest...What's the catch?
We need them to stop taking the p!ss and be clear upfront about whether the requirements are using upscaling and/or frame generation. Until that happens I'm just ignoring requirements and waiting for the game to be released and reviews to be out.
4K ultra only needs a 3080ti? Honestly not bad for a UE5 game.
This game is was on ps4 why is so heavy ?
Solamente una 3080ti es una tarjeta gama alta , sin fg la 4080 le saca de 15 a 10 fps en 4k
Had me sus until you talked about the absolute min being 6gb VRAM.
I think my RX7600 8gb + R5 4600G should be okay
looks like rx 6800 will hit 4k 60 with fsr, thats all i need. btw any info will it have denuvo?
not for $60 smh Sony...
That's the standart price. Be glad it's not $70 or $80.
@@X_irtz still the psn requirement is a big no no bro xD
@@coreypasternak9435 I don't care, i am not gonna probably play this anyways. Just stating that the price is somewhat normal.
I'm curious how many people will actually pick this up. I've seen multiple Let's Plays of this game over the years and feel zero desire to play it for myself knowing the story.
Can you look at Planet Coaster 2 specs too
is the rx 6600 enough for 1080p medium or do i need a 6600 xt?
I will answer ALL "Is your PC ready" videos that we see in the future.
Yes YOUR PC IS READY !!! And it will be ready for at least another 5 years.
Idk what you did with the lighting or camera on you, but you look way sharper and better. Even more handsome, thanks to lighting... pause... :)
Game using same engine as Forbidden West (DECIMA proprietary engine) and recommended requirements are lower than FB.
This one is a remake and its on UE5
Guess I'll wait for cracked version, or forget about it
My intel 4790 cpu system keeps on living. Not completely useless even 10 years later. LOL. That said I use it to play 60fps older games on a living room tv. Not my main system at all.
Does God of War (one) need a psn account on steam? I was thinking about getting it.
Here mine:
OS: Windows 11 Pro 24H2
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X 12 Core 24 Thread
GPU: ROG STRIX GAMING AMD RADEON RX 6700 XT 12 GB
RAM: 32 GB
STORAGE: NVMe SSD
UE5 remake, expect the usual traversal fps drop and heavy stuttering
its basically a remaster
Genuine question.... WHO STILL PLAYS AT 720p?
Me haha. ROG Ally 720p RSR
These specs are getting more and more ridiculous with each game.
well if you are planning to keep pc gaming you will need to upgrade more often then before.
@@zushikatetomotoshift1575 I’m fortunate in that I don’t have an issue with that. I’m running a 5800X 3D/4080 build right now. I’m more agitated that these games don’t give the visually quality to justify the demanding specs.
how? it will run on a 4790k...
@@jamiehav0k62 wait for reviews is the best I can say.
@@jamiehav0k62 yes it might run, but runs like shit and what’s the point if you’re playing on PC? The whole point in playing on PC is to have a better experience than on a console. Just my opinion.
Lol the 6900xt is like 8% faster than the 6800xt, and that can only do 30 fps. No way it can pull 60 fps if a 6800xt is only good for 30 at 4k. Useless chart.
Listing the account requirement is useless at this point since people who can't make one are blocked from buying the game to begin with.
The game was originally released 9 years ago in august of 2015 for PS4. 9 years later they are releasing remastered version of that game for insane 70€ (20€ for PS4 now). Foolish Sony..
I wasn't aware they released it for 70, because I'll be paying 0 lmao.
Imagine paying Sony for ANYTHING in 2024, even their audio equipment is garbage now, they deserve NOTHING and you're BRAINDEAD if you pay for this game
Game shouldn't have Denuvo so I know where to look ;)
Pretty much anything around the 5700/5800/5900x will play just fine.
One of these days i'll score up a used 7800x3d of someone when they are desperate to upgrade.
I stopped the video as soon as you said PSN account required. That's all I need to know.
They're planning to launch their own digital store on PC and lock their titles.
The RX 470 is a 4GB VRAM card tho?
Sony is killing it with their PC ports lately. My 6900 XT is locked and loaded.
Considering the dev team is getting or got laid off it's crazy, and yet this is a game again no one asked for or wanted.
It was just a prank han
Are game requirements currently bonkers or is it just me?
Playstation account required? Well that's a major deal breaker right there. Never going to happen.
I recon my i7-10700 + Titan RTX + 32 gigs of RAM should be enough.
Also a lot more people have a 1440p 144/165/240/360hz monitor nowadays so 30-50fps @ 4K = 60-100fps @ QHD
I was interested....until I realized they are charging $60 for this game? LOL This game is 9 years old! I'll just dig out my ps4 game or sail the high seas if i really want to play it. Should be $30 at very most.
7900GRE/5800X3d, yes. But I will still be playing every game pre 2022 because like everything else this will be broken and unplayable for the first year after release. As for the DLSS , pish. A loss of fps for a textured raindrop? We need this to be successful and launch flawlessly, it simply wont and will be forgotten in 2 months.
PSN account shit needs to stop, the problem isn't having PSN account it's limiting the game to be not available in multiple countries as they don't have PSN
I did spent some hours on it to Platinum the game back then and i don't even remember one single thing of it. If that tell you something. ( I was bored and unemployed at the moment and the game was free on PS+ or something because i don't remember paying for it )
I still have the game on PS4 so have no real desire to buy this on PC, at least not until its heavily discounted.
PSN account requirement is a deal breaker. I'll just spend my money elsewhere. There are so many great games to choose from. If they would like my money, they know what they can do to convince me.
I can max pretty much everything out still but dont. Most games are not optimised at all now and most settings barely offer anything over something slightly lower. I just go ahead use optimised settings on everything unless the games old enough where it doesnt matter.
In short the answer is no
As always. The requirements never fail to not make sense.
These system requirements make no sense.
Team Fortress on steam requiring windows XP and Pentium 4, lol
Account needed? Skip skip
I will wait for the "reloaded" version
TPU VGA Bios Collection ♥️
is there really a reason to replay a Narrative driven game ? sure it will have shinier graphics and all that jazz but unless they are adding a lot more to the table vs the original 2015 version Sony might end up with a dud here and when it does they might point that its proof that single player games are dying.
Psn required... Welp taking that off the steam wishlist, thanks for saving me money Sony!
Also, newer ipc let's 3080 TI fly. Everything except ue5 games and I'm bottlenecking my 3080 TI with 5950x at 1440p. Ue5 uses those extra cores and spreads the load and let's my gpu do great work. Especially with ray tracing. Cores cores cores.
minimum 6GB VRAM for 720p30 wow
You're new here ? Games have been requiring large VRAM amounts for at least a couple years now. Accept the fact that 4gb cards are dead and soon 6gb ones will be as well.
@@DragonOfTheMortalKombat Dude is probably still clinging on his 1050 Ti
I don't plan on playing the game, just surprised at that requirement at such a low resolution
@@defnotatroll you should meet UE5 if you are surprised by the requirements.. even the mighty RTX 4090 is having a hard time when it comes to UE5.
@@bisayatechtips planned obsolescence.. I bet Nvidia are thrilled it's that demanding since it means you feel the need to buy the 5090 for $4000 next year
If someone is running games from a hard drive in late 2024 they must be some kind of masochist.
They are really only loading data, if a game doesn't need fast data transmission then a HDD works just fine, I don't know why people act like it's archaic technology when the only real difference one gets is in load times
@@benedapal7987 Trust me, just the load times are worth it! Especially if you have your os on a hard drive it's fucking unbearable.
@@Masaim6 oh no yeah for the os you definitely want an SSD, that I'll have to say is bigger than games. It just makes the entire computer snappier. With newer games ssds are nice but if you play older games from the PS4 era or back then the games weren't designed to leverage SSD technology anyway even in the loading screens. So nice for games but more mandatory for the os, defiantly don't want the os hanging up trying to read or write data
@@benedapal7987 Even Horizon Zero dawn is way better on ssd. I've played it on both ssd and Hard drive and the loading is way snappier on ssd.
@@Masaim6 that's true, but the game had longer load times on pc than it did on PS4 I believe so it wasn't a HDD issue it was the SSD covering up an optimisation issue
Shall pray the dlss and frame gen gods to grant my 4060 enough power to run this
720p 30fps gtx 1660
my 1060 is dying
the outrage for requiring a PSN account is just plain stupid, for one PSN is only BANNED in 6 countries because of sanctions, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Russia and Belarus
PSN is not officially supported in 44 other countries but people can easily get around this by making a US or UK PSN account and using gift cards whcih is what they already do. What Sony is doing is no different to what Bathesda or Activison or Riot Games have been doing with their games, and I'm pretty sure they have done fine sales wise.
Most of the people complaining about PSN account linking are people from countries where PSN is one supported, and two these same people have no problem linking their steam account with rockstar, activision, riot games, epic etc etc.
