Fun fact about Kane and Kingsley Coman
If Bayern does win a trophy, it will be Kane's first

“Not fully in his hands” - that is an understatement. No player can win any trophy single-handedly, it’s almost entirely out of his hands.
Regardless of the trophies kane does/doesn’t win in his career he’ll still be remembered as literally one of the best strikers ever.

People tend to forget that Kane isn't just a normal goal scorer. He offers a lot more in his game it's unbelievable. He has objectively one of the best all round game in football i.e. winning both the golden boot and best assists maker at the same time in the 20/21 season. 2 times in his career since his breakthrough he scored 30 Premier League goals albeit only losing at to both Salah and Haaland in the golden boot race. Never failed to score 20+ goals in all competitions since the 14/15 season. Hardly gets injured bar the 18/19 and 19/20 seasons. Drops deep to help his teammates to win games. The all time top scorer for Spurs and 2nd overall in the all time Premier League top scorer only Shearer scored more.
Yes, he isn't the quickest since speed isn't part of his game but he makes up with his intelligence, strength and incredible eye for goal. He's yet to win his first ever silverware in his career but the disrespect he gets it's unbelievable just because he isn't successful as Aguero, Cavani, Benzema, Zlatan, Shearer(Premier League winner in 1995 with Blackburn Rovers), Ronaldo(R9), Vardy(Premier League winner and FA Cup winner), Suarez, Lewandowski and now Haaland. Harry Kane is a world class player and one of the best strikers in the world.

As a Bayern fan, I just want to say that I am both grateful and sad that he came to Bayern. I know most people do not watch Bayern, but this Bayern team is not the team you may know a few years ago. It has a lot of problems (I have had an in depth discussion about this with my friend who is also a Bayern fan and we talked about it for at least an hour), and it stems long before Kane came to Bayern. On paper this team has one of the best starts to the season in the Bundesliga ever and is overshadowed by Leverkusen, who is playing absolutely brilliantly. But if you watched matches of Bayern, you can see that the team is not 'good'. Idk how to describe it but most of the time the wins come from the individual brilliance/quality of our squad over other teams, instead of the whole team being good or the coach having good tactics.
Honestly I won't be surprised if we don't win anything this year, but I will feel for Kane, who is playing brilliantly this season. I just hope people can stop laughing at Kane and him not winning any trophy (and by extent, how he will 'curse Bayern into not winning any trophy'), bc it is just not his fault.

@@Vizehoh I know, I’m not trying to call you out. It’s just the fact that it’s unfair for media to call Harry Kane a curse like that, just because he wasn’t winning trophies for his club. The premier league is difficult, as well as the Bundesliga. Some teams have better quality players and its the clubs that bring out the best in people. Harry does his best and even spurs are doing their best. They work to the bone for their club, nothing is ever in their favor, no matter how much they put in. Like from my last comment, I said what Harry needs is confidence in himself and the club has to break down those barriers of English media’s negativity on them. Not to let their criticism or their snarky views on them hurt their chances in the future, sometimes it takes time for achieving the winning trophy and it hurts that it’s never your moment. Even for other English clubs need to know that: Just because one team like Man City is favoured all because of their quality and winnings, doesn’t mean they’ll always be strong forever. You have the power and the will to turn that page around and show the world that you are contenders. All you need is the will power and the motivation to make it happen.

The reason why Harry Kane doesnt get rated as highily as he deserves or as he should be is because of the stature of the statement. "best striker but he cant put together a single golden run to get a trophy" . I think people genuienly understimate how much it takes to win a trophy cause we have seen so many leagues and champions league dominated by 7-8 clubs. When you say Harry Kane scores and huge amount of goals but cant win a trophy it means to most people that he is inconsistent or underperforms underpressure which may not be the case but thats what most would assume , and yes i know Tottenham are not the known winners but that also means that Kane is not the guy to take the club to new levels , for example before messi Barca only had 1 UCL now they have 5

I hate how some people put so much stock in trophies. There are plenty of fantastic players who are written off by modern fans because they never won a trophy.
As an Everton fan, the example I always give is Leighton Baines. He was for a while the best left back in the Premier League, and I still think that only Ashley Cole keeps him from being the greatest LB in Premier League history. However, Baines played almost his entire career in a squad that couldn't win trophies, which has caused most modern fans to completely ignore his incredible playing ability.
If Messi or Ronaldo played their entire careers at a club like Everton or Aston Villa, nobody would be including them in the GOAT debate, no matter how obvious their playing abilities were.

To say that Rice is anywhere near the level of Rodri is just insane but only in England people think that. To say that Saka is anywhere near as good as Salah is also insane but English people do it. Same has been done with Kane. To compare Kane with the likes of Benzema, Lewa and even in the prem some put him above Aguero is just wild to me. His goal scoring tally is very good but 0 of his goals contributed to anything. Ghosted in multiple finals and important games. Haaland came in and broke the record Kane couldn't break for 10 years. He's a good player but he is heavily overrated. He's in the category of Defoe and Yorke. Not on the same level as Aguero, Rooney, Shearer or Andy Cole.

I miss Kane at spurs so much. It would be amazing to see him topping this Ange system. But I'm happy for him, I hope he does win trophies with Bayern to shut his doubters up. I've watched Kane play since 2014 and the guy is unreal. 1 year top the lists for Tottenham with: most goals, most assists, most progressive passes, most headers, most defensive headers, most clearances off the line, essentially everything except saves and sprints. The man can do it all. It's nice to see him not having to do it all now and just be the striker he is. I'll forever hold a grudge against Levy for failing to build a consistent squad around this man. Generational talent, doesn't get the respect he deserves. King Kane, on of our own.

Henry, Zlatan, Aguero, Benzema, Rooney, Lewandowski Com'on
He is propably better than Aubamayang, Higuain, RVP, Van Nistleroy, Dieogo Costa, Lukaku etc. But he is not in the top bracket

Kane has been consistently prolific and gets his plaudits and a huge 100m move to Bayern.

Being a Bundesliga watcher (well duh, I'm german) for many years, I'm sure Kane won't finish this season trophyless. Leverkusen and Stuttgart might be flying high right now, but when it comes to consistency, Munich are probably going to win out in the end, unfortunately.
If he's a big game player or not, I think our thoughts have been clouded by overperformers (and Messi and Ronaldo ofc) and I think (fear) Kane's high level of consistency will win Munich titles in the end.
Also, I feel he's the striker equivalent of a good defensive midfielder. If he does his work properly, you'll barely notice he's there.

He's 30 now I expect he'll spend a couple of years with Bayern and pick up a Bundesliga title at some point. But I think even as professional as he is, at 32+ he will be hard pushed to beat Shearer's record now.
