One of the best features of google earth is the experimental human scale mode. You can go from feeling like Godzilla in a miniature New York to feeling like Superman flying over it. It’s pretty jarring if you get vertigo though

I was hesitant to get Wander on Quest (I have GE on my Rift S) but I must say I enjoy it more than GE. The main reason is that I am not tethered to a cable really, but I find the controls better and the experience better overall.

They are difficult to compare, in my opinion.
You don't have to use a cable to enjoy Google Earth. It works perfectly with Air Link.

Oculus Quest 2, Virtual Desktop, Steam App and Google Earth. Can literally walk around the house whilst in another country. Set graphics to render at 500% (depending on computer power ability) and you have something that looks almost, if not, extremely convincing to that of real life. Only issue is the street view images at times are taken on different years. One minute a building is there, next minute it is under construction. Google Earth is my winner.

One step to altered reality which is the first step to schizophrenia; by enhancing the subconscious of the vulnerable one of those who has deficiency in their neuro transmitters -- which can lead to catastrophic outcome. There's nothing like feeling, breathing and sensing all what we have. Using one sense is not what we made or meant to be! Any way, it is a great idea for budget free.
