How to Fix Search Bar Not Working in Windows 10 (Easiest Ways)

This video what to do when the search bar is not working properly in Windows 10. In some cases, you may not be able to type in the search bar at all.
Fortunately, it is simple to fix this issue. The best methods are restarting the Search app and Windows Explorer, using the Indexer Troubleshooter and doing a factory Reset.

guys this might be because a file is damaged or registry broken so load a backup if this dosnt work or get a cleaner like c clenaer or avast cleanup

SAME! First my sreach bar didnt work then i pressed something and it froze! The thing i pressed was probably screenshot (it looked like it) Then i restarted windows explorer and it worked again!

The second thing he recommends is also useful if you can't access one of your drives. I couldn't access my D drive but after restarting windows explorer it started to work. Many thanks. I still have to restart my computer and see if the search thing appears but already I am hopeful as at first I couldn't see it in the task manager but now it appeared! I was going to take my computer to the computer shop - what a pain - and now I don't have to. Many thanks again.
