On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

I completely forgot that you can scan a picture of the ground with the aircraft. Insane capabilities
SAR mapping is neat indeed. A cool "trick" to essentially use a radar with an aperture of thousands of feet. Synthetic Aperture Radar. Read up on it if interested. It's fascinating stuff to me at least.
It really is mind blowing...and, imagine all the shit we don't even know about!

Great video! Really liking the nighttime battles by the way, it's crazy how different they are. Also, could you do a strike mission using the F-14B with laser guided bombs? I haven't seen many videos of them being used.

It makes me wonder what such a mission might be like with Fat Amy in Beast Mode.
It'll crash somewhere whilst undetected.
Idk about beast mode but in stealth mode you wouldnt have to worry as much about the SAMs
I honestly don't think anything will replace the F-15, in all it's variants, as my favorite fighter. Although I do wish they had the F-111 in DCS.
Need to build more. Fatigue cracks catch up to any platform. Its just crazy that these planes that were designed in the 70s and 80s are still front line today.
I miss the tactical overview that you would do at the end of videos. I found it really interesting. Any plans on bringing that back?
I have to second this!!! In my opinion they really enrich the videos. I know they’re labor intensive for GS but I love how they tie the story together at the end.
I really enjoyed the joint mission. It's fun to watch you mop the floor with the targets, but I feel like when you have to rely on someone else to do their mission for yours to succeed, you could get thrown some nasty curve balls if they bugger it up, or things don't go to plan, so it puts some nice tension in the video.
This reminds me of the old Jane's F-15 game from 1998. Good stuff!! Hey! You should find a copy of Jane's F15 and play it like you do DCS haha you'd mop the floor in that game!!!

In a night combat situation wouldn't you want to avoid using flares/chaff and just notch as hard AF given you put yourself in that situation to begin with?

What's the difference between the E and the EX?
Not much. Just pretty much the entire cockpit, avionics, technology systems etc. Airframe is the same though.
EX can carry up to 20 AMRAAMs; E can only carry 8
Digital fly by wire flight control system, displays, EPAWSS, engines, hardpoints, etc. The EX is a frikken BEAST!
@@RT42069 Ive only seen up to 16 AAMs, four on the CFTs (two each), four each on the double stack racks on stations 2 and 8, and two each on the pylons on stations 1 and 9, which the E cant carry. Where did you see 20? That would be amazing!

Why can’t the E dog fight? What was changed to prevent this?
conformal tanks, and structural changes to the aircraft to support being able to carry so many bombs, and an extra cockpit etc etc, all the extra weight and drag makes it hard to dogfight.
