This song almost made me cry, because it reminded me of my friend and I. We were really good friends, probably best friends, and we spent all our time together, playing, talking, just hanging out. And then, for reasons I still can't explain, we started drifting apart. I made new friends, she made new friends, and we drifted. Once I realized what had happened, it was too late. I started talking to her again, but it was futile. We might never gain back the friendship we had. Fast forward a few months, and another person came along. My friend started hanging out with them, and I was happy for them. But, I began to feel sad, and a little bit jealeous that my friend was moving on. I bore no ill will, just sadness. At the end of the year, We found out that the newcomer was leaving. My friend was devastated, and while I never really knew the newcomer, I did my best to say farewell and comfort my friend. We are going to see each other again in about a week, but I don't believe that we will ever be best friends again. This song reminds me of this because even though we kept drifting, we are still moving forward. We have our own friends, and yet there still is the hope of reconnection, although our friendship will not be as deep as before.

Bro, this happened between 2 of my friends, they were amazing friends, then I came along, became close friends with one, the other was a bit jealous, then one day, the person I was friends with told me her and the other friend were oddly no longer friends, and I did know the other person a little, I helped them with therapy- u h- oof- and now, I have guilt that I ruined their unbreakable friendship...
I know that feeling and it hurts a lot I’m still trying to get over it, but I don’t think the two people I was best friends with will ever hang out with me any more

2018 was a bad year for me. My best friend and I ended our friendship. I remember going to my grandmothers, and I remember being a terrible person to everybody. I was hurt. But one of the things I remember fondly, was creating one of my favorite characters while listening to this song. It's been 2 years. I have worked on myself as a person, and this song just makes me remember. Iv'e come a long way.
Revisiting this in 2022.
Its definitely interesting to look back on some of these old comments I've made over the years.
I still draw this character from back in 2018, and while I doubt ill ever remember it particularly fondly, I like to remember how simple life was. I turn 18 this year, and while it was an awful year, it was an important chapter in my life. Sometimes the worst of times really pushes us into being better people.
