  • Here is the manual button hole foot. This is the foot you want to use when you need to make a buttonhole longer than 3 cm. Otherwise you can use the automatic buttonhole foot #3A.

Thank you so much for creating this tutorial. You saved my project. Tight spots required a shorter foot. Thanks so much!

Found this tutorial when frustrated with the Auto Buttonhole foot would not work "off fabric" like I needed it to for the button holes on the points and a Men's shirt! Thanks Cody! Love your videos! LB

This is also a great foot to have on hand when you want to throw your foot 3A across the room in frustration. Finally ordered the compensation plate for 3A and hope it solves my problems. In the meantime I really like foot 3. Thanks for another great video! ❤️🌵🇺🇸

Haha absolutely!! BERNINA has sooooo many feet and its nice having them because sometimes a foot that usually works great for one project may not work as great for another so having a plan B is nice. :)
      Thanks for the comments :)

Thank you so much for these videos. You explain things so clearly and have such great ideas for alternative uses for the feet.

Would this foot work on the older Bernina 831? Thanks
