I live in Colorado, drove to Wyoming to see my first in 2017. I want to do the road trip to Maine for 2024. Everyone in CO claimed to have "seen the eclipse". I think it was only 98-99% down here. Totality is so epic. It blew my mind. Now I know why people chase full solar eclipses. One of the best experiences of my life, for sure. It made me realize the power of the sun - at 99% it was still light out. 360 degree sunset was amazing. Birds stopped flying. Maine 2024 - I can't wait!!!
The weirdest part for me, was seeing how the sun was 97% covered, but it was still WAY too bright to look at, that'll always stick with me. Oh, and the cool breeze before, during and shortly after totality.
Yeah! That is what blew my mind! Even at 99% it was still basically light outside! It made me realize just how powerful the sun is. It was the most amazing experience of my life.
Am I the only one missing the moon on these solar eclipse videos? Moon is not there before, during nor after the eclipse and the fact that no one ever asks for it makes me lose faith in human kind. (Truman Show)
The moon is never seen before or after... that's because there it's no moon that causes the eclipse. I've been waiting to see this"moon" for years. They're so stupid with their lies that they didn't think about with their claims of earth being so ROUND that it would be totally impossible for the other side of the earth to have any light at all. And I've never heard of anywhere being in a state of total darkness. Another one of their lies
I've only ever seen a Partial eclipse. Looked like a bite was taken out of the sun. I've never seen a total solar eclipse though...and I really wish I do.
Put it on the bucket list. The feeling I had during totality can not be expressed in words. It is epic! The power of the sun is awesome. The period of totality is absolutely mind blowing.
