I found a Curtis Jere about a month ago at my Goodwill for $3.99 where they price everything super high but they obviously didn’t know what it was! I sold it 2 days later for $300 and yes I wrestled it for about a hour to pack and ship! It ended up beings about 4ft long and 3 ft wide 😂
Goodwill has decided they are a Retailer nowadays. Just like goodwill online. So basically, you donate your items to goodwill, they turn around and mark it up to retail, new prices. Hope that works out for them.
Your new phone seemed like it showed stuff just a little bit brighter the clear glass sparkled a little bit better unless it was just me being able to see better tonight anyway you found some great things glad you found that sculpture I hope you can get what you want for it I’m sure it would help you out a lot anyway thanks for the video and I will surely catch you on The next one

I think it’s perfectly fine to have less than happy thoughts on GW pricing. It’s becoming harder and harder for resellers, like us, to find those amazing deals! 😢

Look around, regular retailers and used goods sellers like Goodwill and others like them, have all raised their prices. And most full-time resellers get some or a lot of their inventory at other places besides GW, like auctions, flea markets, estate & yard sales. Resellers have made GW more aware of the value of so many of the donations they receive. But they aren't responsible for GW raising their prices. And donations would pile up like crazy in GW warehouses if resellers didn't buy so much.

It wasn't that many years ago that thrift stores were closing their doors for lack of business! The strong reselling business allows these stores to sell higher volumes of items - and more " luxury" type items - which gives the stores higher profit and allows them to not only stay open but to expand! Higher prices are the result of the scary high cost of living increases amd in some cases corporate greed.
I picked up a huge partylite hurricane glass and it's gorgeous. Some of the partylite has a good market. I got mine for $5, and it has comps for over $100.
A d the tea cup sets that were miss matched. I've asked before on things of that nature just out shopping for myself and they did switch them to their rightful place. Same price too. This is only my 2nd video.

@ Julie, it's just a habit I assume. I don't think she does it to "humanize" things but probably just a habit or to show her respect for the items she has to leave behind. I think it's kind of sweet like when she finds the other "mate" to an item and puts them back together. I've done that several times because of my OCD and love for organizing things.
Oh my...That traditional blue & cream Pfalzgraff stoneware. That's some "good stuff" for sure. It's not my style exactly, but it is an American classic! And it was made in Yorktown, PA, where it was made from the early 1800s until Lifetime Brands bought it and started having it "Made in China" in 2005. 😢This makes me sad. It should still be made in Yorktown,Pa. Too many, almost all, big American brands are made in China...it hurts my heart. 💔
Goodwill's pricing has gone through the roof possibly due to the fact that they have their own online store. It still works though if you know what you're looking for and know their pricing.
I had a hermit crab for 18 yrs. I always put oak tree or maple tree leaves in with him and he ate them up. They are scavengers. Don’t clean the cage a lot.
Also, I dipped him in the dogs water bowl for moisture once a week. Chlorine had dissipated from water in bowl after awhile. Also, kept in in master bathroom. Humidity was good for him. I had 2 crabs. One died after about 10 yrs. They do like company. They also love to explore. He spent the summers outside in the sandbox. I put our fire pit ring and lid in there and it made a great enclosure
And it is important that they have a place to molt. I had all my plant pots in my bathtub watering them and I thought this would be fun for the crab to climb up the baskets and explore. I couldn’t find him later and figured out he had buried himself down in my palm tree pot. Came up a couple months later much darker and larger. Twice a year I put him in the tub with that plant and he always buried himself. They never buried themselves in the sand. Turns out, one of the 2 palms died. I pulled it out to throw away and realized it had no roots left on it. I guess that is what the crab lived on through each molt. Just some pointers for hermit crab owners out there. So many die from people not knowing what they need
That piece of pottery with the crack made me think of your friend Crystal that makes the jewelry with broken Pyrex. I bet if you found cracked and broken cups, saucers, plates, and pottery, and bring it to the attention to the front they will give you a super good price, and Crystal would make some pretty items with them.

At 6:16, there is a blue pottery type item right beside the clay head lady sculpture. That item is one of those incense burners where the smoke from the incense falls down the front like a waterfall. If it is still there when you go back check it out and compare to the online price.

Prices are up everywhere on everything! People pricing have it easier now to look up the value of items on ebay with google imaging as well.

You can use a emery board to fix chips on glass or porcelain. Really works
