  • This recipe will help you to cook proper tasty fried pelmeni, Russian-style meat dumplings, with a golden crust, tender and lightly crispy.
    Ingredients:
    • frozen meat pelmeni or other meat dumplings - 800 g
    • vegetable oil - 3 tbsp
    • butter - 20 g
    • water - 150 ml
    • fresh parsley - to taste
    • ground black pepper - to taste
    • salt - to taste
    You will need:
    • pan with a lid
    Preparation:
    1. Heat a pan with the vegetable oil over medium heat.
    2. Lay out the frozen pelmeni in one layer into the pan and fry over medium heat for 5 minutes on both sides until golden.
    3. Salt and pepper to taste, add the water, cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
    4. Add the butter into the pan and cook for 5 minutes more over low heat, stir the pelmeni and sprinkle with the chopped parsley.
    5. Serve the fried pelmeni hot with favorite sauces or sour cream.
