4:17, yeah that's not why people have issues with thor's(fake) deadlift
They have an issue because they are tangled up I'm Eddie's scrotum
Don't knock the 1kg steps... If we're breaking world records, you don't want to end the pursuit and you don't want to end the interest.... NOW IF YOU'RE RETIRING and you've left 20kg on the table, by all means tear it up.
The lack of sticking points is disgusting
Or in fewer words: Eddie Hall is just built different.
Whats amazing about Eddie is he is nearly 400lbs and still has abs.

Why every videos thumbnail changes like 3 times?
You misspelled mitch hooper who is current axel wr holder press
Lol mitch couldn't hold Eddie's lunch sack
@@AlexanderBromley ok 90iq 1 hit wonder worshipper.
Eddie appeals to the lowest common denominator and is a nobody in the grand scheme of strongman
@MC-ep8cu sure. Now tell me all the reasons Mitch makes you moist.
bro splits ftw
4:18 Fair, but to play the devil's advocate, he didn't choose that weight specifically to beat that one record.
God save the Beast!
Eddie didn’t get the respect he deserved for his WSM victory. Also, JM Blakely utilized a 6x6 as a part of his bench training.
His ankle was broken at the time of attempting the log press world record
Eddie most likely prevented a lot of injuries by keeping his movements away from heavy weighted stretches during his reps.
The lesson here is: you, you reading this comment, you are not Eddie Hall. You’re not. Don’t try to be.
Your right we must be us. We must surpass him.
Eddie was pushed into having the strongest shoulders. Imagine if the max squat (Arnold’s) was available in his time
Do they take steroids etc? Or is just pure training?
yes
Best genetics, training, food, dedication ánd steroids to top it off. You won’t get there with just roids. The top contenders are guys that made insane lifts in there teens already.
Is water wet? You can take every steroid on earth and you're not going to lift anywhere near where Eddie did.
You won't get there with just roids, but you won't get there without them.
2:36 Watch the guy in the back stop mid conversation because what he's witnessing is absurdity.
Eddie would have had the log press wr if he wasnt dehydrated
he STRICT PRESSED 220 kg log in 2015 before his peak! no one never ever can do that NO ONE ! prove me wrong..
So basically lift hard rest and eat a shit ton understood
Heavy loads for more reps. More rest as well unless you’re on Gear. Way too much science in this sht post 2016
It's shocking how few people actually manage to follow that advice.
Eddie’s 216kg looked like he had about 10kgs spare in there
eddie didn't look healthy doing it though. good to see he's since trimmed down. i think he was safer doing the boxing thing.
Being a top level athlete isn't healthy. Eddie may "look" healthier as a boxer but even then he's increasing his chance of CTE with every match and sparing sesh
Eddie is still very fat, very unhealthy, and very slow!!!
W
First title was cooler
answer is easy you cant
You mean do short reps?
In the real world, all that really matters for strength is what we can pick up from the ground and what we can put overhead. Everything else is meant to help those two feats. Eddie was amazing at both.
Another great video, Alexander. Keep 'em coming
What about carries? But yeah hard to beat a deadlift or ohp for functionality other than carries imo
@@bruuhhhh of course, you're right! Have to lift and carry.
The people with the most consecutive wins in strength are the strongest. Sooo count the trophies
I really wish Eddie would stop trying to pretend he is a fighting athlete and just come back to strength sport where he belongs. He is a joke in that world, in this world he is a legend
Thinking about it he must have had a huge healthscare or something to retire with so much left on the table...
Or maybe, he already made enough money to retire comfortably with, he's got his WSM win, set a deadlift record and an axel record and decided what does he have left to prove. I don't know if you know this, but guys as heavy as Eddie don't usually live long enough to be old men.
@@jd9119 That's a very good point, very old and obese people are quite rare.
@@espenstoro Don't crush my dreams bro.
I think if eddie focused on it he could have hit a 240kg log
Step 1: Be Eddie Hall
Why does he have "kaka" on his chest?
He is zimbabwe
Humongous horsecock hydraulic human having horrible hydration
It should be how to press like Big Z.
World records say no, he is not.
