"Trick or treat...FOREVER!!!!!!!!!" That line made me scratch my head so much! Halloween lasts for one night and there won't be anymore candy in the neighborhood! I mean......what if the police noticed them?
Good list today. Being a 90's kid, I too grew with "Goosebumps", I don't think I've watched much of the TV series, but I've seen some episodes, as well as some of the VHS releases which were basically two part episodes edited into one hour movies. I never read much of the books until the recent "Graphix" line. One monster that gave me a scare when I was a kid was that "Sponge Monster" from the episode "It Came from Beneath the Sink". That first shot of it creeped me out. But, I was a kid back then. Have to give props to Aiyanna's "Wicked Witch Laugh" in the opening. I bet she'd kill it in a stage production of "The Wizard of Oz".
I haven't read any of the Goosebumps in years, but my favorite monsters were Slappy and the Scarecrow. I think I should read them one day again and see if they still hold up after all of these years. The second movie is coming out, which I am excited for.
Same here! Love Slappy in everything Goosebumps. ^_^ Love the Masked Mutant more in the book than the one in the episode. He’s supposed to be muscular and look close to the villain on the cover of the book. And when I read his quotes, I picture hearing a deep voice. And not the voice in the episode.
Both the Masked Mutant and Bibleman’s masks look heavily inspired by the Batman Forever cowl. Well, Bibleman apparently had multiple costumes over time, but one of them looks a LOT like it.
The Werewolf of Fever Swamp is definitely my favourite. I only wish I could find clear pictures of what the werewolf costume looked like even if the costume was cheap.
Goosebumps is the piece of entertainment that I have the highest amount of respect for, besides Legends of the Hidden Temple. Goosebumps has helped me go through so much over the years.
Top 5 Worst Goosebumps Monsters Top 5 Best/Worst Twilight Zone Episodes Also, Here's my list 1. Slappy the Living Dummy 2. The Masked Mutant 3. The HorrorLand's Horrors 4. The Scarecrows 5. The Werwolf And also, #Goosebumps #Stine #GoosebumpsForever #HauntedHalloween
Other than Slappy and the Haunted Mask, you basically listed the best ones I remember. However the one I remember and really liked was the Grandfather clock. I don't remember what episode it was in, but I loved the episode and to think the most horrifying thing was a Grandather clock that de-aged the protagonist. That was great. 😁👍🏻
You guys should do lists for Tales From The Darkside and Monsters, two awesome horror anthology series which are criminally underrated and overlooked nowdays.
A lesson about the dangers of controlling time and reality with a remote control named "Click"? R.L.Stein: You Do understand I'm sueing you right? Adam Sandler: *rants like a 3yo*
I loved Karl the Mayor of Karlsville. He look like he was having fun in the role, he made that three parter so much fun for me, especially in the 2nd part.
good to see these guys here I was wondering where they were last year so after we are done with Goosebumps we are totally doing Are You Afraid of the Dark? right?
I liked the newer film and waited to see a sequel to be honest, the series was one of my favorite series because it utilised the horror genre in a good manner in a kids show.A really good tribute for those kind of shows is the monster squad that was really good i believe as well!
ichdichhasserwasser If you didn’t cringe there then you yourself are a fuckin cringelord. And apparently also an edgelord by the sound of your comment..
Thumbs up for including The Masked Mutant. Every time someone talks about Goosebumps, it's always Slappy this or Haunted Mask that. Not enough people talk about him.
If your looking for scary films, the first two REC films are great, as are Grave Encounters and its sequel. Not sure if you watch anime, but check out Another. This one is a perfect show to watch for Halloween.
Good horror movies: -Psycho: The granddaddy of the slasher film? -When Good Ghouls Go Bad: Like a long lost Goosebumps episode. -Creepshow: The granddaddy of the horror anthology film? The father of it if you count Tales from the Crypt (1972). -Phantom Town (AKA SpookyTown) Imagine a Goosebumps episode filmed in Romania, set in the Wild West, aliens meet Invasion of the Body Snatchers, produced by Charles Band. Yes, that Charles Band! It's great fun! -Ed Wood (not really a Halloween movie, more of a biopic on the life of Ed Wood) This movie is in black and white, details the production of Wood's film Plan 9 From Outer Space, is directed by Tim Burton, and is absolutely charming. -ParaNorman: From the same company that did Coraline a few years earlier. -Zombieland: I could probably watch this film every day and not get tired of it. -Hocus Pocus: A Classic! 25 years later, it's a bit dated however. Maybe think of it as an earlier episode of Goosebumps? -The Nightmare Before Christmas: Another charming Tim Burton classic. Essential viewing for both Halloween and Christmas, which is one of the reasons the film is so special to many people. -Halloween (1978): No Halloween movie list is complete without this film. -Warm Bodies: A good romantic comedy with zombies, like Shaun of the Dead! -Disturbia: Shia LaBeouf's best performance? Definitely one of my top ten thriller films of all time. -Young Frankenstein: A wonderful Mel Brooks comedy that spoofs Frankenstein. -Monsters Inc. (A good family movie that is light on scares) -The Evil Dead trilogy: The TV show and video games are really awesome as well. -The Faculty: The 90's version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers set in a high school. An underrated sci-fi chiller, starring: Everyone. No, seriously. Famke Janssen, Piper Laurie, Robert Patrick, Selma Hayek, Jon Stewart, Usher, Christopher McDonald (Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore!!), Josh Hartnett, Elijah Wood, Harry Knowles (from Ain't It Cool News), Wiley Wiggins (from Dazed and Confused), and Louis Black are all in this movie! -Let The Right One In/Let Me In: Two great artsy vampire films, even though one is an American remake. -Casper: A 90s cheesefest but still good family fun. -Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: I'm a sucker for historical retellings that add horror/alternate history (like Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter [another film worth watching in the fall season]) so this was a must-watch for me when it was in theaters, and I loved it. -The Conjuring: The movie that singlehandedly rejuvenated the horror genre, IMO. -Edward Scissorhands: Like most of Tim Burton's films, this one is a charming fantasy. Hope you enjoyed my picks and Happy Halloween!

Slappy is one of the creepiest monsters from goosebumps. Yeah he looked abit different in the show, and the movies, but he is still enjoyable in different ways.
On the 'Attack of the Jack-O'-Lanterns' in the Australian release on channel 10 in the 90's that part was edited out, amongst other things... We taped these and I'd watch them several times a year about '98 to '12 when the tapes started to degrade and/or get moldy from bad storage. So seeing the uncut versions blew my mind! :O
Wow this list is so true with the wherewolves with the pumpkin head especially the scarecrow i wasn’t really scared of it but the where always something eerie and disturbing about them
I did love the ''The Attack of The Mutant'' episode I remember watching it every time it aired but to me the best episodes were the ones where there was was no monster but the actions of the characters would determine their downfall or there was a scary twist at the end that didn't actually have anything to do with monsters. ''Say Cheese or Die'', ''My Hairiest Adventure'', ''The Cuckoo Clock Of Doom'', etc. were much more scary IMO because there's an element of complete impotence to them, the characters felt powerless as their inevitable doom was approaching.
Ok, Ghoosebumps is known mainly for four monsters: Slappy, the monster blood, the haunted mask and the parents with the eyes on the back of their heads. I hope at least one of those is in this list.
adam west is the best part of the masked mutant im not a big fan of this episode but i dont hate it, awesome goosebumps videos you guys much spooky love!~^^ 👻🎃🎄🖤🥳
I have almost every single goosebumps book written! I still love these books!!! Especially the "reader beware choose your scare" books. I've kept them all in a case That's zipped up. All the choices were great imo!!! All creepy episodes that are unforgettable in their own rights.
Didn't the kid in the Mutant episode become the next Masked Mutant or something after beating it? Also those pumpkin alien monsters scared the shit out of me as a kid. I remember having nightmares of them.
My top 5 are 5 the sabre from welcome to camp nightmare 4 the horrors 3 the creeps 2 the masked mutant Honerbile mentions Swamp monster The lawn gnomes The werewolf of fever swamp 1 obviously sllapy

Thalia from The Haunted School - Not even a monster or a villain but a hero instead. She's great, funny and nice! I really enjoyed her and wish she could make a comeback. That line made me scratch my head so much! Halloween lasts for one night and there won't be anymore candy in the neighborhood! I mean......what if the police noticed them?
I think they wanted to let them think its eternal. So they just add more variety to the scare.
The Scarecrows and the Jack o Lanterns were my favorites! So glad to see them here :D

I loved slappy and I also adored the attack of the mutant book it was actually really creepy compared to the episode

I happy that the Werewolf from the Werewolf of Fever Swamp was rank two on the list. Made me happy
The scarecrow is my favorite Goosebumps characters And I was hoping that he would just end up on this list and I’m so glad that is number one
I love how much the Masked Mutant looks like Bible Man.
Omg i thought I was the only one that remembered bibleman
Both the Masked Mutant and Bibleman’s masks look heavily inspired by the Batman Forever cowl. Well, Bibleman apparently had multiple costumes over time, but one of them looks a LOT like it.
Got the better game though?
Lol I thought the same thing 😂.
Mr Shambleface ayo I remember him😂😂😂
