What I have to review today is a Dual Burner Stove from NatureHike - there are other stoves that are out on the market today that are similar to this system but get this, they cost $300!

Its on Amazon now for 106$..I bought one and I love it..
For car camping I’ve used a Coleman dual fuel two burner stove for decades. It works perfectly.
Love coleman liquid fuel products
It is the best for car camping
I own this stove, and I love it, and I completely I agree. I purchased this stove the very first time I saw him use it in the cabin.
I've been eyeing this as well as other NatureHike products. So glad to find this review.
Best channel on YT! Thank you, Luke, for all your hard work to bring these awesome reviews to your viewers. You save us a ton of money by giving us the honest truth about outdoor products. Everything I've bought based on your reviews has been top notch! I am careful how I spend my money, and I've never wasted a dime on any gear I've bought based on your opinions and tests. I tell every outdoor loving person I know to check out your channel! Great content, keep up the good work!
After watching a couple of your videos using the stove, I ordered one for myself. Estimated delivery is mid September. I can wait. I think it's pretty cool.
Nice review Luke! That looks like a stove right up my ally too! Thank you for all you effort!
What takes this stove to the next level in my opinion is that you can use it at home if needed. I have an electric stove in my house, and it doesn't work when the powers out.
Just an fyi. I saw this and ordered it from a retailer direct so it is now available in the US. It did take about a month to get it. I love it! Thanks for the review.
The heat adjustment knob "rebounding" is also an issue with the Coleman Fold N Go stove which is very similar to this one.
It’s a nice stove but an easier to find and cheaper option would be the Coleman fold and go clamshell stove. Similar in size and can be found for around 65 dollars. It’s not as fancy as the jetboil genesis but it’s basically the same as the naturehike except it’s round instead of square. Great informative video though👍
You always have great videos and reviews on gear. I would like to see how it performs with the butane to green cylinder propane adapter. Keep the great reviews coming!!!.
Hey Luke, nice review once again! I liked the stove before this review and believe I will order one. I would like to see it in an orange/black motif 👍
I have the same click problem with a 2 thousand dollar stove in the kitchen . All the best you 2 Happy Trails.
A really good presentation of the information. Thanks.
Thank you... I'm buying one now...
Nice review as always Luke ! Only issue: I forgot I purchased one, because it took so long for it too arrive.
Call me old-fashioned bro but for camping. I like the good old-fashioned Colman stove, yup The conky 2 burner stove with the shield that comes with it. I like it, I love it it works for me.
Classic stove.
Great review and stove
Heck ya, awesome review!
As always, a very thorough and complete review. I believe you do the best reviews of camping gear here on YT, thanks for posting!
looks great!
My Nature Hike stove arrived yesterday. The original delivery date was mid September so it came a month early. Upon initial inspection it appears to be well made. I haven't fired it up yet. It would be nice if you could store the fuel hose assembly inside the stove when it is folded. I attached a small mesh bag to the handle to store the fuel hose. I am going to make a windscreen with some old license plates.
I love ur channel because I can't go out side because of bees and poison ivy and watching ur channel gives me a chance to see the outside thank u
Hi Luke, nice stove ,great color great review, thanks for sharing stay safe
This is now carried by Amazon here in the U.S. (currently @ $109), so that issue has been eliminated. However, the burner adjustment control does concern me. That is an important feature to be able to cook your food properly.
No matter how good is the ignition system, always carry one small lighter just in case.
🔥
I bought the Coleman Fold N Go2 for $70 on sale it's $64 now on Amazon and it worked really well for overlanding. It's big and heavy but folds and stores really well compared to the original squared 2 burner stoves and can handle a very large Cuban Caldero.
Please do a review on Bulin stoves. Got the 6800w and the 3800w with pot and I'm really impressed with size, price and output.
Coleman makes a duel burner stove called the fold and go and perhaps a bit heavier, was less expensive, can run on small propane bottles (1 lasts forever) or an adapter for the larger Bubba bottles or standard sizes. Not sure why I'd go with this option for overlanding. So ya thats a no from me.
One pound propane bottles last a very short time and are very expensive. Heavy too, and hard to get outside North America, so for overland this is better.
@fromtheflightdeck252 not my experience with them. They last a long time for my camp needs.
@NatureBetsLast they also are hard to find overseas, the isopro canisters are available worldwide, plus with an adapter you can use the tall butane canisters. Much cheaper than Coleman heavy one pound cylinders. Heavy because propane is higher vapor pressure.
@@fromtheflightdeck252 agreed, the Lindal valve canisters I am using here with my Naturehike Compact Folding 2 Burner are inexpensive and I refill them with the even cheaper tall Butane picnic gas stove canisters as they are 75 cents each for 250g
Dang, if those burners are dueling, then it could get explosive!
I’d definitely buy this and now I’m thinking hard on it. Damn it 😂
Thank you Luke for another unbiased review. This stove seems decent. I think I will give it a try 120 isn't too bad . I've wasted 120 on a lot less 😂
I got it on order in Thailand for $60 11/11 sale. Good deal here.
Luke the Coleman dual burner has a storage bag. I think the Naturehike dual burner would fit. Amazon had it for around $46.
A closer competition would be Coleman fold-and-go, $90 uses propane, which is a superior fuel. but anymore any stove can use any other fuel with an adapter.
Great video. Mahalo for sharing.
It’s a neat stove and folds up fairly compact but to me…it’s still a tailgate/heavy camping stove…and I like iso-butane for say my MSR pocket rocket. But you can get a new Coleman propane 2 burner w/ a good windscreen for $45 or $10-20 at a garage sale. Unless storage space is at a premium or you already have a stockpile of isobutane cylinders…I’d go with the even more readily available (and arguably refillable) propane…plus you have the option of using an adapter to use a BBQ size tank for longer term camp use. I just don’t see the value…but I do like the design…just seems overpriced for what it does.
Naturehike is awesome products fo the price...i think u hit the nail on the head with issue with copyright or something like of why not sold yet in US .i have a cloud up 2 tent feom Naturehike and seems to be exactly like BA copper spur, just 1/3 of the price....and of course heavier and what not but still...i think Naturehike is a Japanese company that rips off popular gear and sells at affordable price by cutting a few luxuries and quilty , but i have been super happy with everything i have gotten from them
U should do a review of some of therir new backpacks
Thanks for video
Yes buy it
I've never had an issue when ordering from AliExpress here in the UK. Everything has come as described and before estimated time
Nice Review Luke, like always
Just an info for price comparison, the jetboil genesis stove is $280, the price you mentioned ($400) is for genesis with one big pot plus one non stick pan
I personally love my jetboil half gen, it’s enough for our needs
And the genesis is way better stove Imo.
@travisd.4098so I can buy 3 of these for one of your Black Friday Jetboils, and the Jetboil is not reliable according to the Mountain Equipment Coop reviews I read.
You did a nice video. You mention that the Jetboil cost $400. That is not the whole story. For $400 that includes 2 pots, and the carrying case. If you just buy the Jetboil Basecamp, without the posts, the cost is $280.
Thanks for the review, really helpful. I wonder if you could use propane on it, if so, I'm sold.
FYI, the Jetboil is propane (like the cheaper Colman Fold N Go) so it's not really apples to apples. If you want to use isobutane this is pretty much it.
It's actually isopropane, or propane butane mix. So it's good. Cheaper than Coleman's expensive 1 pound cannisters. Plus you can refill the isopro cannister using cheap butane cans.
Might be handy for car camping but for backpacking? I can take xboil kit and it'll do all this does but for a fraction of the weight and size. Seems like a decent enough piece of kit though and decent price. Thanks.
As of today, 4/5/24, this dbl burner stove is available on Amazon for $109.99
I agree, not for hiking....maybe a short hike for a picnic where you don't need a ton of gear like a tent, sleeping bag, pad and so on. I can see it in that situation.
For a bag if you cant get one try a divers regulator bag, look about same shape and size.
Hey Luke, can you do a review on the Outdoor Vitals Fortius 2p, trekking pole backpacking tent?
A fantastic review! I bought one. :) You were using iso-butane fuel in the video, but in the notes you listed butane fuel (which is considerably cheaper). Does it support both? Does it connector work with the GasOne butane fuel cannisters you mentioned in the notes? Thanks!
For car camping I am using the Eureka SPRK+ and love it. The fuel cost for 8 oz butane is much better than the iso-butane canisters and the stove is affordable and has wind screens. I guess if I wanted two burners I would get the Eureka Ignite stove.
Guess one can get the adapter for Butane or Propane.
Burn baby burn 🔥
Not often such a positive review is given. Must be good.
For those looking. This is now available on Amazon. Currently $123 after coupon.
Dual burners is such a convenience when camping with family or a group of friends.
how about Baker stone, or coleman folding stoves? Thanks Vince
It's on Amazon now.
Cool stove! I have the Coleman version. Burns propane. It's decent.
And the Coleman is only $64. If I'm car camping I'll use propane and a stove that doesn't fold but has more powerful burners and a wind screen.
@@waynetherrell8253 Heard that. I keep the Coleman in the dry storage of my little john boat. I have a whole camping setup in there. Nice to be able to camp without having to fill the boat up with gear. As far as power is concerned, it's 10,000 btu per burner for a total of 20,000. I have fried fish, puppies and taters for 10 people on it with no issues.
Luke have you used the Coleman dual burner? I know I’ve seen you use this one a lot. I like the color. The company should offer in a brighter color. If someone DOES use this that are couple backpacking this current color would blend into the environment & would be easy to loose when packing up. My only concern with them NOT selling I’m the US is what “regulations” do they not meet in order to sell directly to the states. Is it a BS reason or truly a safety concern & that is why they can’t sell in the US. Thanks for the review!! Glad you are getting great use out of a purchase. Doesn’t always happen when you are testing these items out.
I wonder how this would compare to the Coleman Fold n' Go stove.
Hi Luke!.. Great video. I saw your recently videos and you have a Naturehike storage bag, could you tell me where can I buy it? Thank you!
I wonder how this compares to the Coleman folding 2 burner stove?
The genesis is a PITA to set up and operate compared to other conventional stoves. Benefit, storage
I personally have the jet broil system and have had it for a couple of years and hundreds of uses without any issues.
The company actually replaced my lid free and it was my fault .
So, $ 120.00 for the stove
Carrying case ? $$
Wind screen ? $
Accessory’s ?
The genesis system comes complete with wind screen, carrying case and fuel adapter and can be used with larger propane bottles also for bigger cookouts.
I’ll stick with what I have but others may like this.
Thanks Luke!
Semper fi
It's 200% better then my last outdoor stove - a Coleman Stove and it used White Gasoline as its fuel in a manual pump up tank - it was a 4 burner with stand and wind screen - but it was finicky, hard to adjust, went thru fuel to quickly and was very dangerous to use
Did you first hear the term "strength and honor" on the movie Gladiator? I noticed they were saying this right before the big battle at the beginning of the movie.
I think this could look great in red
Thanks for the review, i inquired about it awhile back. One question, if anyone knows, with an adapter will it run on propane?
If I want a double burner for car camping I'd say buy the Coleman 2 burner unit with wind screen for half the price , just my opinion
How reliably piezo works depends largely on the level of air moisture.
3:35 just got mine for $63 including delivery in Land of Smiles :)
The stove is IMHO a very good stove...the deal killer for me was the iso-butane canisters. It was the only thing I had in the stable that was that fuel...so I had to figure something else out. After a little research I was able find a piece from Amazon the will convert the ISO to propane. I hooked the stove up and it burns beautifully! Please do something like this at your own risk.😊
You can also just refill isopro canisters with an adapter with butane if you live in a warm tropical country like me and don't camp in freezing weather where the butane might freeze in the lines.
$400 genesis comes with carry case, pot and pan btw.
1:50 it's a flippin transformer. That's a neat trick for such a cheap device.
Coleman makes one, same form factor for $120 CAD
I get that the genesis stove is too expensive. I would love to see you borrow your friends Genesis, and do a side-by-side comparison with this stove, or just a review on the Genesis. I would love to get your opinions on that stove. I already bought one.😳
I like the green stove,, cheaper than the other one.. 😅
Hi Luke , Good Day !!!
I laughed as you say the Igniter in some case need 6 Click ~Click ~Click ~ Click , sometimes there will be 1 Click, and you dun know what Clicks will work Hahahahahaha 🤣🤣.
When you say it, you didn’t laugh you were serious , I felt it cold haha 😂
Not sure but maybe for camping stove two single stoves would work just fine :)
I got my Genesis for $210 on sale last month. You cite the Base Camp, which is $400. The Base Camp comes with a large pot and skillet. The basic Genesis is the most comparable @ $300. My Genesis adjustment is the best I've ever used.
That’s still much more expensive-
@@deekelley891 Not disagreeing. I'm just pointing it out for accuracy.
One can buy a lot of gas for the extra money 😊
@@gunterbecker8528 or 2 tanks of vehicles fuel lol
For around $150 you can get the camp chef Everest which has 20,000 btw burners. No foldable though.
I like it, and I also like cooking with propane in the great outdoors. It is a clean cook and there is a lot less cooking odors wafting thru the forest, catching the nose of animals OR people. People love a campfire but lemme tell ya... campfires draw attention. There are lots of times when a campfire is welcome and cool and proper.... but there are also OTHER times when you, and anyone else camping with you, are better off not lighting a campfire tonite. That stove will WORK... for nights like that.
genesis includes a pot where it nests in with a flux ring. still expensive though. i do like that it can be expanded with an additional burger for regular jetboil pots for quick water boiling. Works on propane instead of isobutane.
You can get the Genesis without the cookware for $280. Still pretty steep imo, but significantly shy of that $400 tag.
Jetboil Genesis costs $280, $400 is for a combo: the stove +frying pan +5l hard anodized alu pot
I wonder if it will fit in the Gas One stove bag I sent you?
The $400 for the genesis is INCLUDING the cooking pan and the fryingpan , your one is just the cooker !
JetBoil prices are outrageous! That’s why I still haven’t bought anything from them! Exactly right about it not being for hiking/backpacking; 5lbs is someone’s entire sleep system & tent in some cases!
If you don't mind Chinese products give Firemaple a look
This item in the UK is priced at £142.00 (around US$ 173)
Looks like the Coleman Fold-N-Go propane stove, and about the same price, too. Do you have any expirence with the Coleman?
Bad experience with aliexpress, I'm out. Great review, but I'll stick to my 30+ year old dual burner Coleman stove, built like a tank.
i used 1 stove for 1 family camping n 2 stoves for 5-7 families camping.
I don't often say anything but it's a Coleman flip and fold by another name at a much higher price.
Fwiw the jetboil genesis is $280 if you're buying the stove alone. Its $400 if you want an included pot and pan.
The genesis runs on propane does it not? That’s a significant difference. (Not to justify the EXORBITANT cost of the genesis system.)
I’d love to know if a simple adapter could let it run propane or if the hose would fail. Propane runs well in lower temperatures. It’s also cheaper and five pound tanks are becoming more and more common with car campers and overlanders.
As far as the valves… I know some of the coleman ‘overseas made’ stoves suffered from this issue and the fix was to disassemble the valve and remove excess grease. Does it look like you could non destructively disassemble the valves?
The Jetboils footprint in compacted form is a crazy small. Room is always worth its weight in gold when you have gear. Comes with literally everything you need except utensils. But once, cry once. lol
Is that a Camp Meal prep you did (The Chicken Teriyaki) or was it a pre packaged product? If pre packaged who makes it?
Aliexpress does have US distribution centers now.
Although I agree the price of the jetboil genesis is way too high . Having one I can tell you all the negatives you have with this unit you don't have with the jetboil . Id rather buy once cry once then deal with constant disappointment in something I got cheaper 🤷
Thanks Luke.
Stay safe and God bless.
The only thing that Genesis has that Nature Hike doesn't it the round form, that allows to be stored in a big pot. But I'm not sure if that worth additional 300 bucks.
Its footprint it crazy small which room is always worth its weight in gold when you have gear
550.- CNY on Taobao in China delivered to home in China 😊
I have to mention this ...in 1971 my parents & I (11yo )went camping in a rented pop up camper ..MY Dad purchased a PRIMUS .2 burner propane stove ..I used THAT SAME STOVE camping with MY children 1991-2002..it STILL WORKS GREAT ! To this DAY ! ..
