If i remember correctly, i used the push the red car tactic all the way to the 1st car and then time the slip stream the way that i would make the overtake attempt before the finish line and then just block its overtake attempts.
You can use a neat trick to make you finish faster: When drafting behind a Skyline, instead of going past it, push it forward with you. You'll use your increased top speed to push it, and it will go the same speed as you. Since you never leave the draft, you can cruise by everyone very easily.
Wanna know something funny? The numbers 2 and 3 translated in Japanese is Ni and San. The fact you're learning about slipstreaming with GTRs too, is no accident.
Tips: If at all possible, stay in 5th gear. 6th is too tall to maintain momentum. You should top out at about 164 MPH without the slipstream in 5th gear while still having enough revs to hit about 180 in the draft. Time your runs so that you maintain as much speed as possible through the banked turns. I just finished this earlier today and boi I think this is one of the most interesting missiosn ever. Its about getting slip stream from your opponents behind or letting them tap you from behind so you'll gain extra 10 km/h. Its pretty smart.

This mission is so infuriating on PAL. The AI is incredibly stupid. You give them the slipstream, let them pass, but because they’ve been fighting each other, 3 of them pass before you can tuck back in, and the last one takes you out with a PIT manoeuvre.
They want to know the drivers when the car is in the front how to overcome it. It is sure to streamline, reverse air, aerodynamic, all this helps the car to skip the car in front of it,
Oooh great now i wanna do a similar-ish thing in gt sport but using the special stage x and having the rolling start interval to the longest distance just to see what happens. Have u tried checking Tourist Trophy again, i saw some settings that solve the licence test but when i use them my tests 2 and 5 from Novice crash the emulator when loading
Hello, I'm also playing it on pcsx2 but for any reason I can't play with the OpenGL renderer. The display is absolutely bugged when I play on it any idea why ? I also have a 1070 with the lattest drivers and i'm trying it with your setups. I can still use D3D11 but the game doesn't look as good as yours
I was surprised you didn't drift through the corners. One of the toughest missions, or even races in the whole game. Perhaps only topped off by getting gold on the IA-15 License.
I remembered that mission, it is a fucking NIGHTMARE I almost broke my controller because of that, but do you know what's even SUPER WORSE? Nurburgring mission 34 THE LAST ONE!
