Merry Christmas @fredorji1 I boil the water, then lower the crays in, return the water to the boil and time it 9mins for "normal" size crays. Normally a couple of mins longer for bigger crays. Cheers mate 👍
Hi @georgepeters3749, my tinny is 4.85m overall, registered at 4.8m. The pot has 4 x escape gaps (was purchased this way), 2 on each side which exceeds the legal requirement of 3 in this area. Cheers mate 👍

@georgepeters3749 I typically fish out of Mindarie. I get what you mean about Dongara, it sure has changed a bit over the last couple of years! I spend a lot of time up there. Cheers mate.
Hi if you put the legs that always break off into a small glass container with a lid on and put them in a microwave then after about 20 or 30 seconds you will hear them popping and the meat will be cooked and out of the leg, better than wasting them, enjoy your videos ;-)
Hi @markthomson7339, I have seen that done and always wanted to give it a go - funny thing is, we were talking about doing it while we were eating them in this vid! I'm glad you are enjoying the vids mate, thank you! 👍
Hi @MichaelFrancis-yw6xg, although we were not, it is good practice to do so. My boat is registered at 4.8m meaning that you are not required to wear a jacket - see below excerpt from the DoT: "Registrable vessels 4.8 metres or larger Registrable vessels are all vessels, including sailing vessels, that are or can be propelled by mechanical power. In protected waters When operating a registrable vessel in rivers, lakes, dams, estuaries, harbours and waters within 400 metres from the shore in the ocean in unprotected waters, you must carry a lifejacket (Level 100 or higher) for each person on board. In unprotected waters When operating beyond 400 metres from shore in unprotected waters: You must carry a lifejacket (Level 100 or higher) for each person on board. Children aged 1 to 12 years on board must wear a lifejacket (Level 100 or higher)."
