    TIPS FOR OPENING JAR:
Take the bottom of a spoon/fork or anything sturdy that fits UNDER the lid and try ti lift the lid a little so there's a slight sound of air, ones that sound happens you can easily open it and no need for anyone else to help you
    - a person that's stubborn and wants to be able to do things on her own

to open a jar easier. Tap the lid edge on the counter just hard enough to pop the air seal. Testing the air seal you place your finger in the cent of the lid and see if it gives a little.

For the salsa, I use knife and try to get between the lid and the glass screw to let some air in the jar, it makes a pop sound, and the lid bloats a bit. Then you can open the jar. 😅

  • @archisne

Hi Taz, you could use glycolic acid cream 6% to 12% strength to deal with hyperpigmentation. Apply it for 3 hours a day and was it off, followed by a good moisturiser. Apply only in the evenings and an absolute must is to use a sunscreen during the day. Keep skin moisturised always. This is a milder version of the peel with similar effects, no need to deal with skin peeling, burning or pain issues. You should see results in a couple of months. Love from India, a girl also dealing with brown skin issues ❤❤❤😊

If you can't open a jar, whack the side of the lid on something hard then it will open! Or if you're going to eat the salsa within a day or 2, stab the lid with a knife and it releases the air and it will just open 🤷‍♀️

Put the jar upside down in a bowl of hot water, let it sit for a few minutes and then try to open it. In case its a plastic make sure the water isnt too hot. And use a cloth or towel to hold the bottle so it doesnt slip and break or burn your hand.

If you tap the jar lid on it's side, so instead of it being horizontal, hold it vertical. And tap the lid on the sink. Hope that makes sense! I usually rotate the jar while tapping, this should make it so you can open it 😊 coming from a woman who lives alone and runs into this a lot 😅

    hello taz =)
I am doing the orthodontic treatment with impress too (started last year). Hopefully not far from getting rid of the braces....always starving ahah.
It looks like your aligners are trimmed to the gum line? Mine have more plastic which sometimes can hurt and it needs to be cut and filed. However, the teeth's alignment is clearly much better which is good.
By the way, to open the jar I normally put an elastic (rubber ones) around the lid. Have a good week.

Hey Taz. I hope you’re doing okay with the aligners. I’m 8 months into my aligners and the first week was horrid and I wasn’t confident I could do it. The next week I was absolutely fine with them and got to the point where I enjoy wearing them. 😂 I’m finished with my treatment in 12 weeks and the improvement is huge.
I just wanted to let you know it gets way better and you do feel it less. If the ‘weird stuff’ on your teeth are the attachments (I cal them nuggets 😆) are bothering you, they wear down as you brush and you don’t notice them. I had ulcers the first week followed by no issues. You’ve got this. 🙌

The nettles you mentioned in the peel formula wouldn't be stinging your skin... nettles only sting skin on contact with the tiny hair like strands on the edge of the leaves, as soon as the leaves are broken down (cooking them for example) they don't have the ability to sting. Have you heard of nettle soup? Sounds horrible I know, but it's a real thing! Nobody can be stung by nettle soup because the leaves totally change in the cooking process. It would be deadly if they did... imagine those leaves stinging your throat!!!!😱 Just don't anyone eat them raw... nope... never, never, never even think of eating them in a salad!!😭 But it does look like you had an overreaction to that skin peel!😔 I hope you can resolve your skin issue soon... I know how miserable that can be, I've had it many times in the past. I use organic food grade argon oil on face now... ever since swapping my expensive natural face creams for that argon oil three years ago my skin has been absolutely amazing and, soft and problem free. I even use it as an eye make remover... it's amazing oil!! If you've not already tried it... maybe give it a go?

We've been much closer to WWIII before.
You can't limit yourself because of potential disasters, because you'd literally never do anything. It isn't possible to function if you view the world that way.
I would say, though, that if we were in a world where WWIII was incredibly imminent, that'd surely be more reason than ever to do good things for yourself? Because it'd be possibly your last chance (at least for a while)?
I know anxiety isn't logical, but sometimes thinking it all through and accepting what's out of control can help.

It sounded like she maybe did? But the phrasing made it sound sort of ambiguous.
