I had veneers done 14 years ago 6 only and at first, delighted and never had a good smile up to that point, the worst thing I ever did, after 1 week the front tooth veneer fell off as a whole piece,,,, then the rest as whole veneers did the same and she blamed me for grinding my teeth, I had the whole lot reglued twice and she said if it happened again I would be charged......I have one left on now, and the rest all fell out, I had a root canal with here before the veneers and that whole tooth fell out with the veneer attached to it, am now left with a horrendous smile and like many on here, I just don't smile anymore. I researched veneers and came across a specialist in veneers, as that is all he did, and he stated that everybody and his dog jumped on board veneers when they first came out and very few could get them to stay on......he stated he has never in 20 years at that time ever had a veneer fall off he said that once prepped and cemented on they were on for life, or until they failed as a unit and cracked, he said that he had to drill them off if replacements were needed. I can see people looking at my teeth and it affects every aspect of my confidence........which went a long time ago.

What about dabbing coconut oil on the teeth so the impression comes out easier?
As long as you are not leaving the impressions on for too long, you shouldn't have to use anything additional like coconut oil.

What if the molars don't hit the bottom but the front and incisors do?
The material needs to go so far as to where it is clearing your entire gum line, but not so far as to where any of your teeth are piercing through the material.

I have been thinking about getting these for years .I have had tetracycline banding throughout my teeth my whole life .So I have always been ashamed of my smile . I rarely ever smile in photos and truth be told when I see a camera I I run .My teeth/smile have affected my self confidence my whole life. Well , I just turned 60 this year and I would love to smile with confidence even if it was just one time before I meet my maker . So , my question is , I have fillings in a few teeth (old fillings) is it safe to do the impressions with old fillings ?
As long as you don't have any loose teeth or loose fillings, then that should not be a problem.

I like this guy, can I just ask quickly are there different shades as I see some and they generate just as much opinion as they look too white and not natural, any comments are welcome.
All of our veneers come in the shade natural white. The BIL Veneer is the only one where you have the option of either doing natural white or ultra white.

This looks so easy I bet you even a 5 year old can do it. That’s why those greedy dentists don’t want us to know about it. Hope some good guy or gal produces a similar DIY for Botox injections. All they do is a simple injection and charge an arm and leg for it.

If you have weak teeth, can impressions pull teeth out?
The impressions will not pull your teeth out, unless your teeth are very loose in the first place. If that is the case, we would not recommend getting veneers.

I have a bottom partial .
I needed to have a new one made .
The Idiot dentist used the wrong glue type - so the timer was automatically off .
Then horrors of horrors the upper tray in my mouth completely hardened - and was concrete stuck !
He was trying pulling up and out . My jaw felt like it was damaged . He did not even steady my jaw while pulling !
I was panicking and starting to choke .
He tore it out and i felt all my outside dentin ripped off . My back molars became lose , along with my fillings .
Years After this my teeth were weaker . My tooth i had a root canal just broke off . My lower tooth that was holding my partial . Broke off half way leaving the root intact .
I developed PTSD and extreme anxiety . Plus an extreme reflex gag disorder .
I need to go to the dentist so badly . But I would need to be completely put out under iv general .
No general dentists are licensed for General Anesthetic , except specialists .
On top of this i have an extremely small bite . They have to use the children’s butterfly size tray to put the goop in … and not every office carries it . Since my dentist retired . Ive had to explain all over the trauma to new dental team my experiences and my special needs .
When i heard of Pop on I was so delighted . Because i thought if i have the control over making the mold . The fear would be less .
But upon further research .I’m learning Pop On uses plastic and not digital to make your teeth .
Just watching this video is making me anxious .

What about bruxism? If I keep that in my mouth bar night. Will it be damaged or rather protect my teeth?
What if you have gaps though. Or crowded. Or fangs upper on top. How do u go about impression to make it look like that
You still take it the same way, they will pour dental stone on it. The point is making a replica of your mouth, no matter how it looks.
When you place your order, we ship you a specialized impression system that has all of the materials and instructions you'll need to take impressions of your own teeth at home. You'll also get a pre-paid envelope for returning your completed impressions to our lab. Once we get your impressions we'll use 3D scanning to create a digital model of your teeth, and our designers use that model to determine the fit and look of your veneers. This video is great… however i have tried and tried till all my mixtures were used… now I’m broke, can’t afford new mix and it for me at least was 1000% percent impossible to mix it right and get it together in the tray in the “time”. Under 30 seconds on my 3rd mix and it was hard as a rock at 36 secs trying to get my teeth into it. Now i dont know what to do or know what I’m paying for!

We do not recommend biting down on the impressions. You want to push them up onto your teeth with your fingers.
