I've been playing the hell out of Halo 2 on Insignia, as it was exactly what I was waiting for. I'm currently number 3 on the overall Rumble Pit playlist leaderboard 😎 Also for phones, yep iPhone 13 mini gang :)
The Halo 2 HD mod is super cool to see. Grim just did an update to it today that fixes in-game reset. I shot some footage of the mod and put it up on my channel if anyone's curious. Going to be testing higher GPU overclocks soon.
So much development. Its crazy that it took 20 years to get a built in software unlock tool for orphan drives. Cant wait to see what chips / bioses get developed with features like OLED screen support, wifi flashing and features not currently available with the older chips.
Zero chance of me buying anything Nintendo ever again. One of my friends who buys basically everything they make has chosen to go the same route. You played yourself, Nintendo. Everyone who was going to emulate is still going to. Now, you're costing yourself loyal customers all to crack down on something you will never snuff out. Good job.
This podcast/video reminded me I should boot up my Alladin XT modded Xbox. Also, I cannot remember the last time I've used a land line phone that wasn't run through some sort of software on a PC.
Nothing wrong with a commercial emulator built with clean-room spec. But having a corporate entity behind the emulator and having any kind of payment system is going to attract companies like Nintendo. You'll notice a couple of other Switch Emulators didn't get served or so much as mentioned by the Big N. Tears of the Kingdom was a red herring of sorts, but the BIGNESS aspect is definitely significant. The whole thing was Yuzu launching fireworks and flying giant flags while playing loud music. The key to emulation has always been to keep it on the down low. Another great example of getting by is of course one of the best emulators around: Dolphin. 20 years old now.
Phone. I've had my ROG phone 8 pro for 2 days now and have been enjoying playing through my PS2 back catalog :-) 1 TB of storage fits a whole lot of games.
small correction at 15:40, you'll still have to crack the game to make it work without CD/DVDs, you literally read it out in your video. how did you miss that?
Didn't miss it, I was referencing the games being played in a typical manner, so from CD or DVD. What I said is accurate: you don't have to rely on a crack to play them. Now if the question was about playing cracked versions of games, that's different and not the intention of the tool.
Hi Mrmario ive been searching for more info on RP2040 on my phone. Can you do a more on indepth video on what the possible uses for this chip are for the og Xbox.
Well I would say that my first phone was a one plus nord n20 didn’t use it for much then got a lime colored Samsung s23 ultra 1TB mainly used it for ps2 emulation and now I’m using a iPhone 15 pro max for now
At this point I should just buy a bucket of picos even though I haven't done anything with them Maybe I'll buy them when someone makes a wii phone out of them
Not sure how Suyu is going to move forward without Nintendo noticing. The issue with forking Yuzu is that NIntendo now owns the source code. So the emulation legality is irrelevant, the publishing/using of the source code itself is a copyright violation.
I still have the budget phone Moto G Play 2021 from 2021 as my daily driver. It's dog-slow and stuck on Android 11 with no worthwhile custom ROMs, but it still has stellar battery life and I've made the best of it by rooting it and tweaking performance settings and debloating the forced installed apps. Still decent enough and keeps up with everything I need it to do. Also it's sort of become an experiment to see just how long I can stretch out the usability until it completely folds in on itself.
@@MrMario2011When it reaches end of life, check out the official builds of LineageOS, it's the successor to Cyanogenmod and is extremely stable! The team is super tidy with keeping up with security updates as well! My emulator phone is a Pixel 2 XL paired with LineageOS, Android 13 and runs like brand-new. It even still fully supports all of the current Pixel extra features!
Unlocking of Xbox hdd’s is awesome bummed I threw away a few locked drives over the years. I still have a landline phone never used but hides the mounting plate and a cordless phone also now never used and my iPhone 12 Pro.
I'm staying away of virtually everything Nintendo just because of the crap way they treat their community. I don't know when they'll ship their next gen console but you might want to think twice before giving money to a company that will use it to send more lawyers towards anyone they don't like. Maybe buy a new phone instead.
I wish more people would cover halo 2 coming back! Glad you did although I’m shocked that mvg and the act man haven’t yet
I bet MVG had his latest video already in the works when the annoucement happened

Me and my boys are coming for the top 3. Enjoy it while you can 😈

Love the development on it!

Truly an exciting time!
RP2040 also could be used as a controller converter. OGX-mini, just drop the uf2 file on it and it is done.
Lol, I did not check the video

those little chips are so awsome thats amazing
Love seeing what it can do!
perfect video to enjoy on the start of a few days off from work. lying in bed with the phone on a stand, giving me ideas for a weekend project.
Perfect!

I have a Samsung J6 with a broken battery... :(
Lot's of cool things going on in the OG Xbox scene, love it.
One of the best scenes
Lilly needs a phone so she can call some friends over to watch you record. Would be like being at the chefs table, lol. Thanks for the video Mario
She has one dog friend, only one 🤣 thanks for hanging out!
Great podcast. Love the content covering og xbox and other consoles
Much appreciated!
Lovely my phone - the last mini Iphone 13 256gb - Great video as always 🤘😉
Plenty of storage there!

Nice! Which emulator are you going with?
Amazing video. Thanks for all the info. ❤

I love your psx soft mod video dude
Glad to hear it!

Nice when you're able to do that! I've been happy with my Pixel 7 Pro, I've kept it all stock but it's been working well for me since launch.

Hmmm... I don't want to mod my xbox, but Halo 2 on original hardware with a crt would be amazing to relive.
You can connect with a stock console!

Hope your doing good man
Doing my best!
this is so sweet!
Yuzu devs had to get on their knees and blow Nintendo™ like if they were trying to get an 64 game cartridge to work 😂
Really not a fan of the bigger phone. If I want to do stuff I'd much rather use a PC, Laptop or Tablet. Great modchat as ever!
We really did have the death of the tablet with phones being so big.
I like big phones and I cannot lie.

You think Nintendo is unique in that fact?
@@brkbtjunkie Its aggressiveness is unique.

Can emulate whatever you want
I'd personally just buy a pc lmao

There's a way to install prometheOS on a raspberry pi or RP2040?
No, but I'd guess it's a matter of time before that become a reality.
The 3DS deserved better, RIP 3D Screen.
Phones suck, get a SteamDeck..
I still enjoy my phone nokia 3310 😁
