Joselyn- Those are Venetian-African Trading beads and are very valuable! They were popular here in the US in the 70’s…high school kids would buy a couple of beads and make a cool necklace. Kinda hippie. Your large string could be worth $100, or more. That was an exciting find!
I repurpose vintage ashtrays to rest my paint brushes in the craft room. It dresses up the workspace :) Have prosperous new year everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Those African beads... Beautiful !
Love your videos! Every time you place a glass item on another glass item I cringe. So afraid of breakage. You seem to know more about glass and its resilience than I do! Great work!
Went to my GW on the way home. Found an Italian vase going for $150-$500. I was pretty happy with it. Paid $5.99.
I really loved all the clear glass pieces. Especially the little butter dishes. Great cart today🫶🏼👏🏼
That was sweet how you have the little, left behind owl, a little pat on the head.
The ball in a pottery dish thing is a stamp or envelope licker. You pop out the ball, put some water in the base, then twirl the ball to get a thin layer of water on it to run your envelope adhesive strip or stamp over to put on your envelopes.
❤ So elegantly explained, YES!
None of the kids know the old technology. Only someone who's licked endless dry stamps and envelopes knows what a great invention that was! Or the happiness when self-stick was invented!
I have something similar that is for massage oil. ;-) I guess now it can have a new use since who likes licking envelopes or stamps?? I once read it was one calorie per lick, lol.
I miss licking stamps 😂
I didn’t recognize it until I read your comment, then was like, oh yea, I knew that. Lol, glad I ran across your comment. 💜
HNY!!! Let us know when and where you're planing to list that strand of African Beads. Love to add those to my collection.
The 300000 on the beads could well be an old price tag from Italy. In 1999 the euro became unit of account in italy at the time 1 euro was worth 1936,27 italian lira so the 300.000 would have been 155 euros back then but ofcourse the tag could be much older. If your beads are real antique venetian millefiori beads their value is in the hundreds of USD or EUR. The real deal is hard to mix up with play-doh, especially for a glass connoisseur like you😊
The little butter dishes and the miniature dishes that you picked up are children’s dishes. They come in sets of four……butter dish and lid, creamer, sugar with lid, and spooner. That’s what I collect!!!
There are also punch bowls with litt punch cups. However, lots of repos are made of many designs. Originals are EAPG. I’ve had most of mine for 50 plus years. Not much appreciation in value.
The clear glass miniature cream and sugars would be sweet for a tea party.
With Wedgewood, the glazed jasperware is Queensware. It's dateable by the color of the mark on the bottom.
thank you for explaining about the Queensware.
I also watch Lady Mary Beth and she is an expert on Waterford. What I have learned is that most are etched Waterford somewhere, not always on the bottom. A seahorse is their logo. And all Waterford has a 16 point star on the bottom if it’s a receptacle of some kind. The most valuable are those crafted by the master glass blowers and are usually signed by them and are worth a pretty penny. I thought the measuring jugs were by Majolika?
Love your info on waterford glass, I live near Waterford, Ireland and a neighbour worked for Waterford Glass and made many items specificaĺly the Crystal Ball used in New York, St Patrick's Day Crystal Bowl the shamrock is given to the American President and many more state occasions, he is a master craftsman and has made personal jewelry for the late Queen of England..
I watch Lady Mary Beth too. She knows Waterford and crystal.
@@SiobhanNiBen omg, you know way more than me, thanks for the extra info 👍
@sallyannchappell5671 gosh No I don't lol! I've learned more reading comments from people like yourselves .. xx

Its like each little dish is a personal butter saver for each place set. I couldn't pass them up either! Loved watching. HAVE A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!🇺🇲🌺🙏🏻💐🌼🐦🇺🇸
Wishing you a Happy New Year---and I hope you are feeling completely well soon!
I love clear cut glass. I just found my first fairy lamp and it's clear glass 😊
Happy New Year hope you have great finds this year at goodwill
Those old oak school desks make great bedroom end tables. I have my 2nd Grade desk (wrought iron sides). We bought it for $1 when my school switched to “modern” desks!
The price GW is asking is way too high.
Happy New Year! Hope you all have a wonderful and blessed year,!
I love that heavy glass teapot. it is so beautiful with the purple.
Quite a collection of different items you found. 😊 it was a great cart day.
Your knowledge on all this stuff is insane. I mean crazy impressive. There’s just so much stuff to remember.
Rockin the clear glass today!!❤
I love your shopping videos! I have learned a lot from you - thank you! 😊
What a great haul! I never miss your videos. 😁
Hi Jocelyn❤ I love the small clear glass and find it kinda irresistible😁 Thanks for your Goodwill goodness!
Those are old African trading beads…. worth a lot more than 24.00 !! What a score !!
Great haul this time girly. Thanks for sharing.
I cannot wait to hear what you learn about some of the treasures you found in this video!
I love that little brown bowl.
Always love shopping along with you I just wanted to let you know that some of those cast iron sharpeners I think the one you saw was a canon can sell for quite a bit.
Happy New Year 🎊
The beads are old and their value is high,,,❤if they have more take it ❤😊
Love everything you got today
I love that solid glass teapot ❤
Those African glass beads are gorgeous & some of the vintage & antique ones can be worth quite a bit! Love you haul! Hope Andrew is better
Those beads look like antique venetian millefiori beads a.k.a. African trade beads and can be worth a pretty penny!👏😊
Came here to say exactly this. That strand is worth a lot!
Same here, much more than the $18-24 if African trade beads which they looked like
Budapest has prices like that, not dollars
Hi Jocelyn Happy New Year ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊
Yippee! 🎉 Nice with no loud music.
What a great walk through. So many wonderful finds
Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Love the teapot 🫖🫖😊😊😊❤❤❤
Great review - I want one now
Many african trade beads are being made today from recycled glass and painted. From the pics unable to tell if these are older or newer. If new not worth too much if older better.
Love your videos
01:30 Trade beads strung on what looked like raffia. The beads themselves may be Italian, made for the African market. They used to send the messy ones down there and now it's a "look" that's sought out in its own right. BTW - did anyone else see another one of those pieces of "drum" glass on the shelf?
Goodwill prices just keep going up. Vintage shops seem to be better to shop. I love the two small butter dishes. One for each end of the table. Oh, I love all the clear glass mini’s you picked up.
I've noticed that too! I asked an employee and she told me they haven't. But they have gone up.
My local location has increased all base prices for clothing but the hardwares haven't gone up yet, thank goodness.
They are going up and 2nd ave has gone down to one color on sale, selection was so much better 20 yrs ago!
I want those trade beads. It's so hard to know when and where you put things up gor sale. But I would love to know when they go up for sale I so that I could purchase them...
Oh my, you remembered your bags!
I like the little butter dishes.
Background: “Get off that right now!” 😂😂😂😂😂
The little holder with rhe blue ball inside at 6.17 looked like a finger tip moistner. Put a little glycerin in the holder and roll the ball. Takes the place of "licking you finger to tuen a page when dealing with office paper back in the day.😊
Had a neighbor with a goose she dressed up. That darn thing had a better wardrobe than I did. Definitely more clothes than I had
Very nice finds!
Clear glass for the win! lol ❤
Clear pressed glass is what you found today. I like it. I believe it will become very collectable in the near future. Once everyone has a boat load of prex .
Wasn't able to get a good look at the small, domed butter pats but what little I did see when I expanded the screen I think the pattern is pinwheel and it is crystal. By no means high end but nice just the same.
Ken Edwards pottery a terrific find!
Your right close to where I'm from. We lived in shippensberg. Also caryle
.
Wonderful cart today. thanks for sharing. So sorry your still having problems with your voice. Hope it gets back to normal soon. But the shopping was alot of fun.
The mini butter dishes are EAPG, circa 1910 Westmoreland 'Thumbelina' pattern. AKA: Flattened Diamond & Sunburst.
Try a black light on that dynasty gallery teapot! I’ve found a few that glow, in the most random colors too!!!
" Feet, what do i need you for when i have wings to fly" Frida Kahlo😊 I love her paintings. So colourfull.
Check the little drum glass set to see if they have a manganese glow
The miniature jug looks like the one that came with my fontinini nativity set…
Wow I just realized you have a new vehicle congratulations can you show us it , it looks so nice you really deserved it you work very hard again congrats ❤😊
the dark wood carved box coasters looks like ebony, and the grey plastic thing with the blue ball, I think is used for wetting stamps or shipping tape.
Those Goodwill prices! Yikes! 😕
Small chips can be smoothed out with 300 grit sandpaper
I love your dark hair❤️
On the right side of the lower shelf, above where you found the ceramic milk dish with the green bird and blue rim, there was a suitable plate, that might have been the underplate for the little jug.
Thay would mean it was a sauce dish, not a milk jug (and of course no sugar to go with it).
looks like a brand new vehicle. Very pretty
I bought a child's set and it had some of those clear glass pieces in it.
I live in England and got x4 soup fire glass bowls for free, worth £30.00
Thanks 😊
Wow, Thats a Great glass tea pot, it would make a really good paper weight ! lol
😂😂😂
I think you scored on the teapot. Keep us posted! Happy New Year to you and the family 🎉🎉🎉
I also want to know how much she makes on that!
Love to hear more about your new can. It’s gorgeous
New can?
New car
I think you missed a pink uranium glass plate. I’ve picked one up at a thrift store not long back there pretty cool the glow in the dark like the green.
Hi, there is a store at Rockvale in Lancaster called Christmas tree hill
@lauracaldwell would love that lock.
Happy New Year! Great video
Happy new year! Just wondering if you have ever gone to DC Big Flea in chantilly VA. Not too far a drive from south PA I think. The glass and pottery selection is huge and amazing and prices can be very reasonable too. It is this sat jan. 6 from 9 to 6 and sunday 11 to 5. We will be set up with a variety of smalls etc. Just wanted to mention if that is ok
I've heard that's a good show. Is there a snow date?
@@keryljensen978 they usually have good weather so I dont think they ever cancel. Another show in march too
That lock is 25 bucks on Amazon.
I believe it is a double sided egg cup and not an incense burner although the shape can be similar but usually brass and that sort of shape on a "stem"
Ooooooh I see you found more child size EAPG pieces, which stands for Early American PATTERN Glass. Just an FYI there lol Also, some pieces, even though child sized/toy pieces do indeed have some better values. It all depends on the pattern and the actual piece of that pattern. Like that 'DRUM' pattern pieces you found!!!!! It's Bryce Higbee & Company and is circa 1879-1907!! They can go for $$$ lol NICE SCORE!!
People reselling I’ve seen it all wouldn’t waste my money rather go goodwill shopping myself and use my own creativity however what I find I will leave as is
Nice haul! thanks ! Xox
That blue ball in a white holder is meant to be used to massage tight muscles. You hold the white part and the blue ball rolls around.
I’m loving the interior of your car 😮❤ what is it
I l love your videos😮
Today was such a different cart
Beautiful African trade beads! They look quite old.
The roller ball is for your muscles, like a mini massager
I actually really love clear glass, it’s funny how many ppl don’t like it!! Those were great pieces!!
The blue ball at 6:15 is a massage roller
I am probably way wrong, but the square colorful pottery piece you said might be an incense burner, reminds me of a piece I have on a big side table drawer. It is a decoration plate for the ceramic drawer pull. Just a guess. I love the lion head lock, but didn’t realize it was $20!
I also buy stuff just to figure out what it is
That 300,000 might be Lira
I think the two clear glass pieces at 6:30 are miniature / "toy" butter dishes. Seems like I've seen similar ones in books about toy children's glassware of the late 1800s/early 1900s. Although those look like they could be relatively new - recent reproductions? Not sure! I wonder if they show any faint base wear (tiny scratches etc) on the bases?
