I don’t know why, but my anxiety steps in whenever people leave their carts. Even in the thrift stores or out there that just freaks me out I would never do that.

Kayla, I take plant clippings on the plane all the time. I’m a flight attendant and I get little pickings from all over the world. That one rare Wellton, you can take out of pot keep roots intact and put in ziplock bag with rubber band. Mist it in bag and rubber band the top then double bag it and put in your checked luggage. I too love and collect plants. I do this a few times a week world wide!
True! And you can take plants out of California but can't bring them in.
My son who is obsessed with unique plants did that when we went to Florida.
I.would love to pick up plant cuttings from all over but Biosecurity laws here in Australia are very tough. The fine for bringing in plant material is very high $$$$. 😑 Even State to State there's a big fine in some cases.
Maybe Matt will take her one on his next trip to Ky?!!!

Flea Market tip don’t be afraid to counter offer. A seller would rather make profit vs having to pack it up at the end of the day.
Same goes for resellers that have Antique Booths or a storage unit to sell out of. Have a good day

Yes, we are very aware that everyone does haggle with us. I prefer to do the haggling myself when someone looks very interested in an item but not the price. 😊

The ONLY time I ever did that was because the little pencil case I bought for my Granddaughter wasn't even worth $1 and she wanted $5 so I offered $3. I know a lot of people haggle but I just don't feel comfortable (unless it is something way not worth what they want). I also hate when things aren't priced and instead of giving me a price they say, "what were you thinking?" Aggggghhhh I don't wanna offend anyone lol 😊
I used to set up at the flea market and I hated resellers who were first there and offered half on your best things. I was like, go find your own inventory 😅😅 I still don't haggle, I don't think it's nice. If the price is too high, I just walk away and go find something else. I buy anything and everything so it's always fun and interesting. You two are the best, thanks so much for taking us along with you ❤❤and being the kindest sweetest people ever.

Any Picker can pick up something with a label, but it takes taste, skill and confidence to pick up items that you love the design. Both of you are mentors to those who find real treasures!

I noticed that Matt always refers to items as Little .. when asking price… I wonder if we do this subconsciously thinking the price will be little… 😂😂😂. You both are doing a great job!

Just grab some dollar store banks and use the rubber stoppers for your elephant. he was too cute to leave. Glad you rescued him.
Discovered you both about 6 months ago. Y’all just popped up in my suggested videos and I became addicted in your process. I even went back and watched both of your older videos so to see Kayla at the flea markets with Matt makes me smile.
I just had to share something, Being married to my soul mate for 23 years on February 1st. We are complete opposites I love treasure hunting and he doesn't but he supports me in everyway. Seeing you and Matt together and your shared love for treasure hunting and the excitement when ya'll are together makes my heart happy. I love watching your love grow!

Has kayla ever been to California before?you guys should do a road trip maybe in the spring start northern cali to los Angeles to las vegas plan a big what not at arts house sell alot of your inventory than continue toward Kentucky stoping at garage sales thrift stores and some fun and site seeing along the way you guys deserve it.and planed the way you guys do would be free vacation and maybe even profits also i think you would do great as a metal detecting channal along the California coast and Kentucky looking for the gold nuggets BIG WELCOME TO KAYLA WE LOVE HER HERE IN CALIFORNIA

I am sure you already know you can buy the plugs for your elephant. Salt and pepper shakers when they are missing or hard from age.

You picked up a glass lid with a fawn on it and said it was like "the trinket box I have at home ". I had that set as a child (77 now) and it contained a box of body powder and a matching large powder puff. Body powder was a big thing in the 50's.

I ordered a bag of those plugs for elephant bank. I buy many banks with no plugs the plugs are really cheap and easy to replace.

Cambridge also makes Fiestaware flatware. If damaged or missing pieces, they will send replacements for free---at least they did for me! Fun pick-ups!!! 🌟🎉🐷🛍🛒🦎🦉✨️
First one. I love flea markets and you guys are amazing shopping flea markets. You find the best deals and waste no time doing it. I still believe we have the same niche cause I really love what you pick up. We both have the black trinket box with turtle clasp. I just sold mine and just sold my pink cuisinart coffee maker last week.
I can’t believe you passed on that Magnalite. I snagged a 17qt roaster at the Goodwill for 14.99. I know it wouldn’t be worth shipping it home but surprised that Matt didn’t want to sell it.

You can go online and get a bag of plugs in a variety of sizes. Salt and pepper on up. I think I paid $5 for 100 pcs nice to put a clean one in shakers too.

The dcuk uk produced ducks first with the tag displaying their name. Lots of the ducks were sold in furniture shops and even shows (fairs). I have found a penguin in the wild too.

At 17:15 I like the Jack o lantern. I wonder what is made of and if the face is painted on or... It's probably worthless. I I think I just like it because it's a kettle and a Jack-o-lantern but I'm not a good picker
