  • RJ Corman's Carolina Lines railroad (RJCS) has skunked me twice in a row, but the third time really is the charm as I found out one December Friday. Even luckier was their snoot nose tunnel motor SD40T-2 leading the train for the majority of the chase, making for a good day as always out on the high iron. Thanks for checking it out, please consider liking and subscribing if you enjoyed the video :)

the tunnel motors were built for SP and DRGW. UP only got them after the SP merger. Some of the tunnel motors also went to KCS later in life.

I recommend you do, since I've last been there they have gotten two more six axles, and the line is steadily getting busier and busier!

Actually, according to rrpicturearchives, their info says RJ Corman has two locomotives numbered 7710, the GP38 you mentioned, as well as a GP38-2, 3813 is actually a GP38-3 which is a dash 2 that's been freshly rebuilt, and apparently 3812 is incorrectly labeled on the site as a GP38-3 even though you said it is an SD40T-2.

The SD40 is 8336, and then 3812 and 3813 are both GP38’s. I thought I saw they’re -2’s, they could be -3’s, I guess I should’ve checked the side of the locomotive. Either way, a neat lineup

      He didn’t say 3812 is a SD40T-2
